That’s who I thought she was.
Probably because JLo early on was being styled and guided like a lot of the Black R&B girls. That fit was more of a One in a Million music video Aaliyah look. Bandanas, those specific shades, and the all matching loose bottom fit were her signature. But I remember bandanas had a chokehold on the Black and Brown community 😂 Especially the bandeau tops with the print.
I honestly thought she was DaBrat 😂. Iykyk.

I think Madeline did the best here, I knew who she was dressing up as on each costume. Just looking at the other girls, I was like I have no idea who they are dressed up as. Wearing a black dress, or a plain track suit could be anyone! Then that would be annoying people coming up you asking if your dressed up or not, or what you are.

The part that “missed the mark” on the faerie outfit is the wig…. Costume would look WAY better if the wig was actually styled (or a better quality synthetic wig- you can get good ones for cheapie)
