interesting to have the 2 Getters here now and with the Devolution crew who are more in tune with the grand cosmology or whatever of Getter making connections and expounding what they know. Shin Getter Robo G is basically like the Devolution Getter in a way which is interesting, could be a nod to how the evolved Getter G in the manga has high ties to the Emperor say a component. I don't recall the origin of it in this world only that Go delivers it without much explanation, Getter has a lot more mystery in this iteration of the world it seems compared to some others. Interesting to think this is a middle point, where the manga events occurred then this with the expectation by the Devolution team they would arrive in the world seen in the final parts of the manga. I don't recall they had any foreknowledge of what the world was like in the manga so that's something.
For the looks of it they were warped a little after the fight where the Getter get his wings and tail but omit certain details to let it flow in the game, like the event that leads to their Stoner Sunshine, sadly because of that the Getter did not get its own Shine Spark
