It is so annoying to see india ( and other parts of asia) have hundreds of commenters thinking their countries are so special because they find this question easy. I am english, and I’m pretty sure this is easy for most people with a decent education. It may simply reflect specifically the USA having a problem with education.
Hey Asians. The point of the sat is to test students on basic geometry through precalculus. It’s not supposed to be difficult math. It’s supposed to be fairly simple problems that require a bit of convoluted thinking
You could take the five out of 5555 to make 5(1111) then substitute the five with x^10 to get x^9/y=x^10(1111) then divide both sides by x^10 and simplify to get 1/xy=1111
He made the hardest question on the SAT look like a homework problem 💀
Jee aspirants - "come on man, that's too easy"
If that's the hardest America is doomed💀💀💀💀

I haven’t studied math in over 30 years. I love these problems because it feels like rebooting my brain
I love how many hardest questions there are on the SAT. When I took it, these kinds of things were the easier ones.
I swear the difficulty of these tests got nerfed over the last 10 years.
5 seconds to solve THE HARDEST SAT PROBLEM
Dude my mom is a math teacher and she solved without a pen and paper this isn't that hard
In India we can solve this verbally 😂.
Multiply the left side by x/x to make x^10/xy=5,555. Then substitute x^10 with 5 to make 5/xy=5555. Dividing both sides by 5 makes 1/xy=1111.
Just got my SAT score back two days ago. 1560 (English 770 math 790). l'm ecstatic. First and last time.
POV : You are Asian and laughing

“Huh?” Got me choking on my neck.
No one told me SAT was this easy💀💀
There's no way this is close to the hardest question on the SAT.
the organic chemistry tutor and this channel helps me a lot with math
Okay yeah I did it but a bit differently
