Things are changing in India. Today, parents do not interfere much with children's choice of careers. If we drop out from college and tell our parents that we would want to be a fitness coach, it's a big no. But, if we complete our education and tell our parents that we wanna pursue a different career, as long as that career guarantees financial stability, our parents are ok with it. Fitness industry has a huge market in India and Indian men are giving up their corporate jobs to be a full time fitness coach.

In germany it would be basically useless. dont know how its in the US but i dont think its as hard to master it compared to US education. The entrance exam for India's top engineering colleges is one of the toughest in the world. The entrance exam to medical is very tough too. 2. Unlike the USA Indian kids need to prepare for medical entrance exams from school.. 3. The cut off percentage of most of the prestigious colleges in India is at least 98 to 99%. 4. Indian students come to the US after completing their Under graduation in India. 5. The ones who qualify to the top colleges for MBA and masters do not even choose to move to the USA. 6 Also the most successful doctors, engineers, professors around the world are Indians who had their primary and undergraduate level education in India. CEOs of Google, Microsoft, TH-cam, Starbucks, etc all completed their college from India. Their foundation of concepts developed in India.

Indian family structure is very robust and successful and requires love, care, forward-thinking, and discipline. One who is already verbally shunning your family in the beginning...how will she bring joy, love, and harmony within family and neighborhood. How will you adjust, flourish or return respect and love to her family?
In Indian culture, it's two ways family become friends and relatives in lives sharing festivities, sad times, joyful moments, etc. Thinking of your widowed mother who has worked very hard as a single mother to bring you up. She speaks without thinking, is very demanding, and has been with multiple men. Seriously I am feeling sorry for the family that you will be putting your mother through this. A woman hooking up with a personal trainer, younger, and traveling abroad to live with him without marriage. Tacy! Don't be surprised if you are not accepted, used, and thrown away just like you use him for fame on TV Jenny. u should listen to your friends....u will cause a lot of heartache in India. Well said. In the comments section most western women are judging his family. They are like his family is not modern. Degrees in India are not valuable in the West. In India they can buy degrees. The fact that these people are judging a culture, a society and a family without doing any concrete research itself reflects how modern their minds are. I am proud of my Indian roots, family values and the most matured thing these westerners can do is respect our way of life rather than judging us or expecting things to be their way.

Things are changing in India. Today, parents do not interfere much with children's choice of careers. If we drop out from college and tell our parents that we would want to be a fitness coach, it's a big no. But, if we complete our education and tell our parents that we wanna pursue a different career, as long as that career guarantees financial stability, our parents are ok with it. Fitness industry has a huge market in India and Indian men are giving up their corporate jobs to be a full time fitness coach.

This relationship almost seems set up by tlc. They paired the most emotionally troubled women that is at the bottom in the looks department and set her up with someone who could do much better. Otherwise, he is giving up the chance to move to the US and the opportunity of a green card. He doesn't have that much to give to a relationship if he stays home (literally). Looks aren't everything. You are looking at it from a Western perspective and don't understand his POV.
His goal seems to be to move to the US to model there. That she is willing to move to him is what he is excited about.
I dont think you can compare the master degrees from those countries to the western ones.
In germany it would be basically useless. dont know how its in the US but i dont think its as hard to master it compared to US education. Otherwise why do they all come there on a student visa if it has any value?
How would it be useless ? Most degrees have the same value no matter where or what it’s applied to. Just because it’s a degree from a non- first world country doesn’t make it less-than it’s counterparts. Colleges have standards and many universities in india are *very* prestigious. I wonder what makes you say something like this
As a European I have to ask... Why do you think a law degree in Germany is useless ?
They have to test and get certified in the states. Even if you move from one state to another because each state has different laws.
Of course, it is useless in the US. A doctor or lawyer, for example, in a foreign country can't just come to the US and be a doctor or an attorney. It takes a lot of time and money to get boarded here in the US. AND a green card before one sits the board exam.
Sorry, no offence. But your assumption is based on a biased view on these countries, especially India. FYI: 1. The education system in India is tougher than the West. The entrance exam for India's top engineering colleges is one of the toughest in the world. The entrance exam to medical is very tough too.
2. Unlike the USA Indian kids need to prepare for medical entrance exams from school..
3. The cut off percentage of most of the prestigious colleges in India is at least 98 to 99%.
4. Indian students come to the US after completing their Under graduation in India. 5. The ones who qualify to the top colleges for MBA and masters do not even choose to move to the USA.
6 Also the most successful doctors, engineers, professors around the world are Indians who had their primary and undergraduate level education in India.
CEOs of Google, Microsoft, TH-cam, Starbucks, etc all completed their college from India. Their foundation of concepts developed in India.
