@@J.Fro90if you see the musician credits on Thriller, David Paich, Steve Porcaro, Jeffrey Porcaro and Steve Lukather all from Toto play on almost every song.
If you don’t know the song Africa by Toto, I would recommend that.

@@TheMike_I I don't have the credits handy, but I wonder if David Hungate (bass) also played on Thriller. Almost all of the members of Toto also played on Boz Scaggs excellent Silk Degrees album before they became Toto

... it still astounds me that this great song by Toto did not crack into the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Peaked at number 48. Strange.
