A great tip a senior dev told me years ago to ensure you do a little work on your project each day is to pick a tune you really like - chances are it will be about 4 mins long. Hit play and for the duration of the song work on your project - you can always stop at the end of the song if you are not making progress, not in the right headspace etc. Chances are by the time the song ends you will be stuck in to what you are doing and will go well beyond the 4 mins of the song. To quote Mary Poppins "well begun is half done"; procrastination is really just fear of failure. It's a very powerful force but very easily shattered with a small bit of action.
this is great. I think same applies for learning to code. Better to do little but consistently. I'm now a CS masters but this semester there weren't any programming classes so I went to online platforms for coding classes
I’m all for side projects but if your goal is to do it for the money , what makes you think you will also do the marketing, customer service & all the other necessary functions if you can’t even motivate yourself to code up the product in the first place?

If I coded one hour a day, it would really change my life. I would lose my job.
