In this video we go over the New Balance Kawhi 4:
This “Grey Day” colorway comes in a vintage style with a yellowed midsole - it might not even look like a hoop shoe, but performs at an elite level. The dual-density FuelCell + Energy Arc carbon fiber plate setup is perfect for impact protection, responsiveness and springiness on feet. Traction is arguably a best-of-the-year type of grip, excellent on both clean courts and dusty courts. You can go either true to size or half size down for the best fit, and the soft upper material provides incredible comfort. The only downside from my experience was containment for lateral movements, if you like to shift sideways a lot, you could likely feel your feet protruding out towards the side but otherwise this is an easy cop for anyone looking for great traction & cushion, a lightweight and comfortable ride.

The only problem with this shoe is that the color ways are insanely atrocious and they’ve only put out 3. NB has absolutely dropped the ball with making this shoe aesthetic. Also, no one wants another man’s name on their shoe. They should’ve put a signature or logo.

Yea I wish companies would just drop a triple black or do team colorways like Nike that are basic, not just a bunch of weird/super loud crap out the gate, been a huge problem for brands like New Balance, Li-Ning/WoW, 361, Anta, just the Chinese brands and not the super mainstream brands in general.

👍 Umm yes and they’re quite different. One gives you a stacked up feeling on feet while the other sticks lower to the floor, more simple and minimalistic, softer too.

NB needs to make too many of this colorway. Dad shoes are still acceptable and some people may not be able to buy multiple shoes and may only get one for 1-2 years, this can be someone's everything shoe

Hey yes more suitable for the vast majority of consumers today given how easy it is to use.

I have been using them for almost 2 months (since their release), the outsole is not durable at all. Once the grooves get taken out it all disappears quickly.

@@TommyLiu4 if you dont mind me asking why. i'm 6'1.5- 6'2 , 220, wide feet, i like to slash and prefer playing in kyries (although they are narrow and hurt the side of my feet). Im thinking the kawhis bc of my wide feet and lateral calluses

It’s their vintage design on this colorway. Comes like that.
On my red/white color way the red heel portion si like washed white worn out look. At first I thought they've sent me used pair but everything else was brand new so it didn't make any sense. The I looked up the Internet and actually saw that's how they made it 😅
