When Amit said he likes Himesh as a composer, my high respect for him went higher. Himesh has some ridiculously amazing compositions. People often speak badly of him but dont forget he has composed songs like "Naam hai tera tera" and other blockbusters
They are stupid who don't respect Lord HR...His Music level is beyond their understanding...
Himesh is someone who created not only songs but so many good memories for 90s kids
i personally LOVE his song 'tera chehra' from sanam teri kasam. its a beautiful composition. also, SKT the album has some great songs. i need to get into more of HR's works now lol.

Amit Trivedi is a next generation music director that Bollywood industry badly needed. So refreshing and unique at the same time. My only suggestion would be to compose songs that combine Indian and western music. Very often his songs are bit western influenced.

Even when I listen to a song, I cannot concentrate on voice and lyrics as I get panicked that I am missing out the composition, arrangement of notes, beats etc. This is the reason why I confidently sing with wrong lyrics all the time. And also the reason why I am more into instrumental and BGM.

Love these interviews because of the choice of people who are interviewed. I would also like to see international celebrities. Especially because the questions and answers are not what you hear typically.
Only one aesthetic suggestion, please do a camera check before the interview starts and ask the personnels to stay in the frame. So, we can see them as well.

Really enjoyed this interview. Since you are currently exploring Ramgopal Verma and also since you like A R Rahman you might want to watch and review "Rangeela" (literally translated it means colorful). This film just completed 25 years since it's release on 8th September. It's a rare one for RGV since it's more in the musical genre by his own admission. Also it has Aamir Khan in it!
Now we can find good interviews here only and on Jaby Koay channels.. really appreciated..
