Theres alot to learn from the war in Ukraine and essential we capitalize on their knowledge and experience in their tactical use. Its great to see that the army here is evaluating various drones to best serve those on operations today as a game changer indeed. Considering we use to use.
Great to see. Always testing new kit, thermals and sights as with all tech is always improving.
well done lads x stay safe
Good to see the British Army not resting on their laurels when it comes to new tech and tactics.
The biggest problem the British Army has is the British Government who fail to fun UK defences properly
If you’ve learned anything from Ukraine u need to kit every soldier with a drone thats able to drop grenades, they have by far been the most interesting new war tactic and a nightmare on the battlefield.
Yes I can't see how drones pinging off grenades all along a section doesn't change everything really!
Great to see 2 yorks with all new hi tech kit I was in pwo and I wish we had the kit you have then when I was in keep the good work up lads .
That situational awareness device has got to be a game changer. Imagine knowing where everyone is at a glance of a screen? 🧐
Absolutely TOP TOP TOP ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and absolutely 💎 diamond my dear British Army ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
That seems a great job with the army
Nice
telescopic inspection mirror tool?
Tiny drones with thermal optics - niceeee
You forgot about Robo Soldier!
Yaaaaarrrrkkkkkkkssshiiiirreeeee
looks like a lot of batteries to keep all that tech working , just saying
Can you upload it straight to TikTok though?
LAN-GADGE is what some ghost army told me tell you in the future
great to see our barve men and women getting new kit and equipment. they should have the best money can buy to do what they need to do.
Will be interesting to see what make of drone people will use as currently DJI have the best but cant imaging the UK/US military using Chinese drones ;-)
Not much left of the BA .
Top national priority to control the thief Midlands with extreme aggression and martial violence
Coventry top pick for an Army kicking
Can we not develop a drone that does not drone, if they can't hear them it's harder to spot them.
Not easily, the same argument could be said for fast air jets, helicopters and other aircraft. The developer of that ability will be a popular person.
Can barley hear drones above you as it is, it's why there's so many drone pov clips of russias being so nonchalant before they get hit by a explosive. When they're a few hundred feet above you , theyre essentially invisible without a good set of eyes
Getting all this new kit
But yet lads are having to. Share rooms like been back at home as a child
British army is not a tier 1, they are tiers above.
You guys are amazing, thank you. Here in Canada, it would be awesome to see you capture feral yobs, bullies ruining quiet villages. Bring back hard labour and discipline.
😎
Only just trialling equipment other country’s have been using for some years.
Are those other countries tie’n them into US satellite?
The British army is among the best in the world.
@@pantherowow77 ..it’s a woke joke….all they do is transgender rights……the British Army is nothing….just ask Putin.
This is just what they are prepared to publicly share.
And they are actually looking into fundamentally integrate it into operations; not just dump it on their troops.
Looked like a dji drone if it was then very smart using a Chinese made drone
Them drones need to be silent they would alert the enemy of their presence.???
So you guys are the cyber polygon Klaus schwab keeps mentioning. You need to decide which, erm, side you're actually on
British army is the absolute best
Just imagine giving Ukraine kit that is fit for purpose. These amateurs could learn a great deal more than they do now by watching Twitter videos and trying to mimic those.
I'm all for making life easier for the troops on the ground, but it's all extra kit to carry.
So I'm guessing these tests are to find out what happens when you run out of battery power, noting how good those in power are at restricting kit when needed?
Can it be electronically compromised ,so an enemy force could find you quicker than you find them,
And are they squaddie prof, etc.
Tech is brilliant, but not if you're relying on it too much
That it compromises basic skills.
Yet they need to train using this kit. Any potential enemy will have something akin to it, so if they don't have access to it, they would be at a significant disadvantage.
If people like you had their way, they'd be charging in on horseback in full plate armour.
You should see how many gadgets US Rangers have. They carry a spare battery for each piece of equipment too.
This tech is pivotal to life and death.
Do you need a better editor and videographer?
Are you serious? British army is trailing night vision thermals? LOL. Long time has passed since the british empire fell..
No u weren’t paying attention. The soldier said this new night vision is a 1000 times better than the old ones.
U.K. forces have been using sights and thermals for decades. They are always improving. Not going to use the same thermal from 30 years ago.
Are u dumb? We’ve had those for years. He clearly says knew ones
@@Statueshop297 it's always the attention span that gets them 😜
Not very good at understanding basic English are you O’Brien
Are you dumb? The British army has been using thermals for a long time, this is just newer than the older stuff
