Thank you for your step by step - I had watched two others and had inflated the kayak. Didn't catch the left and right oar markings and thank you for solving the mystery of the piece with three holes. I went back into the box and found the plastic measuring device. Also liked the idea of the foot rest being used as a knee rest.
i have always gone by how it feels as per the ammount of air in the kayak. Today had a go with the measuring gizmo. .... At 10cm feels like it is onlly half blown up though.
Good video thanks I should have watched you first before setting up .I now have a problem with the 1st Boston valve being too tight so can't deflate the kayak not sure if that was due to over tightening it or over inflating it.
I've tried it in bow and also just picking out so my knees r we st on it. I guess it's safer in the bow or stern so your legs don't get caught inside if you capsize. Whatever it's flotation so if you get a puncture the kayak has bouyancy while it remains in the kayak. I am not an expert , so it's purely my observations . I did capsize in it recently and had to be towed to riverbank to get back in Can't find any video on getting back into an inflatable kayak in deep water. It behaves differently to a rigid one.
@@bridgelangley I climbed into it in deep water just by throwing my body over the middle of the kayak obviously it was the right way up at this point but they don't appear to be difficult to turn over in the water.
Mine arrives tomorrow (hopefully)..... It seems there are 2013 and 2019 versions being sold. I can't find any info on the difference and I don't know which I will get.... any ideas ?
Nope. Intex were selling a 2013 for 115 ish. The range 2019 version for 149.99 . Got mine from at albans store had to go direct as the range said sold out. I am going to try a deflation video in next couple of days. You do need to get as much air out as poss by folding and lying on it. Takes a few mins longer than inflation!
Found this response. A: There isn't a great deal of difference. The seat is slightly raised one piece seat as opposed to the 2013 two piece seat. The color scheme is slightly different. The fin is a slightly different shape. Both are excellent kayaks. Biro · 2 years ago
I received mine yesterday and like a typical man I went at it ….. then thought better of it and looked up this clip. Very useful! 👍

Thank you, my provided instructions were worthless. Although the second fill hole was already longer than my measure tool??
Jolly good show! Very helpful. Thank you for creating this.
as long as you didn't spot the paddle drip catcher the wrong way round. ( it doesn't make much difference!) ;)

We get that sometimes. Carry a towel with us to dry off kayak after use. And use it to put round valve if it's stiff for extra purchase
@@bridgelangley Yeah we tried that but didn't work I think I will have to try and make some sort of wrench for it.
@@powergin1 let me know what works
@@bridgelangley Yeah will do.
Love mine ♥️
My first time I used this... I was so dissapointed, now after watching this video I realize I DID NOT PUMP THE BOTTOM//
Ha ha, yeah it took me ages to find valve 1. I suppose I should RTFM :-)
Very useful
Thank you
Is the green Triangular inflatable thing for the knees? I've Been putting it behind the seat as an extra floatation. I didn't know it's for the legs

@@bridgelangley Thanks for the info. Arrived today and it is one piece seat so the later model . Can't wait to give it a go.
@@HumberFlyer have put up video on deflation..
IMPORTANT: Take the pump with you. If the water is cooler than the ambient temperature, it'll lose some pressure.
Very useful. Thanks. 👍
, Great review
Tolles Boot für den Preis. Grüße aus Berlin
Cool video, thank you
