The Babymon b-side Stuck In The Middle is some of the best pure vocals I've heard in a while from any girl group. YG definitely did a great job putting this group together.

i think when they released batter up, it was for more just to have something out for people since they kept pushing back their debut. I think this song definitely says "everything has been settled, now the real debut starts now" whereas with batter was just to release something just to simply have something that is out whether if people liked it or not

I hope one day people will understand that YG has his own unique signature and they strive to preserve it. They have no intention of copy his own groups they want to mantain his distinct style. YG once said: we want that when someone listen our songs they think "oh its so YG" they want to preserved their brand through generations. It just that many people discovered the YG concept through BP but they were already many years behind in the industry. Ain't no way YG would do the same cute sweet girl concept these kpop GG groups are doing a lot these days im thankful for that, we need some noise in kpop. Certain company (i know you know which one) do the same easy listening songs, are on the same trend but oh! lets hate YG while that company do the same but with another concept
This song isn't new, its literally any Blackpink song or 2NE1 song with younger singers. The "noise" they're bringing isn't innovative or creative in anyway. It's old recycled sounds and concepts that YG has been doing for 10+ years and the stans are too tone deaf and blind to call them out for how lazy they are as a company. Being a "company Stan" is pretty cringe. Giving the company a free pass when they put out lazy music because you can't get over their old music....
