When checking for a room for a future date, rooms were VERY expensive and out of our financial range (400+). Beautiful place though.
Same. I didn't know it wasn't open yet when we drove by it a few months ago and saw it for the first time. Didn't even know it existed until we happened to drive by and notice it. Looked up prices and nearly choked. Who can afford that? Really out of touch in today's economy. Would be so irresponsible to spend that kind of money on a vacation for most people who can barely afford rent and food.

I liked the Fireflies that were built in to the bathroom mirror, and hidden into the decorations on the floor.
Disappointed in the prices

we were there nov of last year and let me tell you the cinnamon bread with mayfield ice cream and oye! a year later we stil aren't over that!
Not sure I like the room, your view wasn’t good. Personal preference I prefer a room with tub and shower, and the mirror in the bathroom too busy. The lobby area and pool were nice but for the price point I would look elsewhere.
Interesting how you get your music for your tube videos , I found your intro music before you start all your videos , but this one on the lodge does not come out in Shazam correctly looks like you hook up to an oriental artist musician ?
We have been enjoying the videos. I can see why Dawn was upset about being woke up.
What are the differences between the HeartSong Lodge and the DreamMore Resort? Which one do you guys like better? Is there a shuttle that goes between the two resorts? I couldn't find anyone who has compared the two but saw you have stayed at both. Hopefully you can help. We are trying to decide which one would be best for our first family trip to Dollywood.
It's more spacious at HeartSong than it is at DreamMore. Yes the shuttle goes back and forth.
I would give them a 3 overall beautiful looking hotel but has issues.we stayed from Nov 13th to Nov 18th.
Pros
- Beautiful looking hotel
- great location.
Cons
-Pool was freezing all week as heater broke.
- food was terrible at quick service and the main restaurant
- fountain soda machine was broken for last 4 days with no site of repair.
- staff at quick service was rude and not nice
- door man was very aggressive and basically shock us down to take our luggage and had to tip.
- rooms design was not good as there is no door to the sink area so if someone is in there early morning or late at night it’s like the whole room lites up as there is no door.
- phone system did not work at hotel
- you can hear the room Next to you sound goes right through the wall

How are they open if everything isn't ready yet and they officially open in November? I look forward to seeing the whole place when it's actually open. Which resort is better? Are they both priced the same? What are the real differences in the resorts other than the looks?

The pool closing early on ya was a real bummer. I felt your disappointment. I really thought the indoor pool would have been heated. Can't wait for part 2. The water features looked nice. Very cool getting to be the first to stay in the room! 🧡👍
PS I LOVED the sound machine in the room. Nice touch. I think the sound on the right end was wind chimes.

I don't understand why a place like Dollywood would not have bath tubs in their hotel rooms.
If you're marketed towards families with young kids..... Small children don't do showers, they need a bath tub for washing and bathing.
The room we stayed and didn't but there might be some tubs and other rooms
I don't do showers. I get super dizzy when I stand still in one spot. A tub is a must.
Very nice hotel,but very expensive. I'm surprised that either pool is not heated during the cooler months 😊
It’s nice but I think it looks a bit institutional. Needs to feel more like you are in the Smokies

Finally getting a chance to catch up. I was looking forward to seeing how this place turned out- and beautiful of course. Thanks for showing it so well, the details especially! I too looked at the prices - a little steep but maybe a for a spurge one day now that I moved to the mainland. And I will definitely be going to Dollywood and pigeon forge but probably not till the kids spring break,

Been visiting the Smokies since I was a child. Favorite place is Cades Cove. So beautiful there. Love Dollywood too. Enjoy your videos.

Although the new resort is very nice, I didn’t see anything that warranted the prices. I’ve seen grander resorts at this price point. I’m actually disappointed Dolly put her stamp of approval on it. With this economy young families can’t afford such exuberant prices. I guess Dolly is like so many others, catering to the wealthy.

I love that you show everything in the rooms. I do use the iron and ironing board because my clothes sometimes get wrinkled because I overpack. I would love to stay here. I wish hubby would surprise me for my birthday in February with a stay here. Thanks for sharing

The wife and I enjoyed your highlighting this new resort. It was very well done. We've been watching your videos pretty much from the beginning and enjoy them very much. Can you tell us what brand of sleep sound machine was used in the rooms? My wife would like to purchase one to help her sleep at night. She tells me most machines she has seen just don't measure up.
