I don't really get it, why does modesty always have to be related to religion? I as an Indian, dress modestly, not like hiding everything like you guys from head to toe but yea , enough to call modest. barely wear shorts out cuz it's not the norm here, and personally cannot wear sleeveless due to dark underarms. that's that. everything is not about religion
I’m curious about the non kosher stuffed animals as well. I understand only eating kosher animals, but should we not love and appreciate all of G-d’s creations? No disrespect at all, I’m genuinely curious.
It’s not something all Jews practice. For example my cousins and some friends practice this and we make sure to get only kosher animal toys and clothes with kosher animals.
I think the story goes that the Lubavitcher Rebbe had a child who was scared of a stuffed animal tiger, he concluded from this that non-Kosher animals scare children. This probably is because non-Kosher animals are mostly predators.
@commonsensical9409 A stuffed animal is not technically a real animal at all. It represents an animal--that one eats or that kids play with. And as it represents a non kosher animal, Lubovitchers don't keep them in the home or play with them. It is a Lubovitch custom.
I know this is out of the Blue. Know what I love about your family. Your family, and a conservative Muslim family follow almost the same practice. -Modesty -Love for family -Love for God -and almost the same practices.
They make and sell on those speedo and Nike websites the only reason I know that is because it took me forever to find something my size I am round but I am not going to cover up because of it and swimsuit sports include religion cover up but not plus size people
It's not a mitzvah. A mitzvah is just a good deed 😊 It's a direct commandment to not wear clothing of opposite gender. Yes, you're right. But she is wearing a skirt, and is clearly a female. She's not trying to dress like a man at all. A basic, plain shirt wouldn't be considered "men" or "women" clothing.. even if it's sold that way in modern stores. The commandment is about dressing/looking like the opposite gender. As in, making yourself look like a woman if you are a man. And vice versa. It's this cross-dressing that is forbidden. Like being a drag queen, etc. But she just took a plain shirt, ahe's wearing a skirt, and she clearly looks like a woman. Lol
From a Muslim lady to my Jewish sister, I am proud of your modesty. That is something we both share as Muslims and Jews.❤
As a Christian I totally agree
@@shelleyswan535how come?

Why do we you look at our differences, we should look about what do we have in common?

And with the shirt you now have souvenir from the park.
Love the idea for modest swimwear 👍
Except it's not a thing.
saraschneider6781@ it is a thing
Most definitely is a thing!
We are all children of God ❤
What the fuck?
God has no children. You fucking stupid.
We all are the Creation of god.
No!. *creations
No, we are all slaves or creations of GOD...!!!
@kawankawan51 your whole sentence means we are still all God's loved creation
Well Metaphorically yes!
She is so beautiful.

How is a stuffed animal kosher or not? I genuinely want to know.

You are a beautiful woman and show modesty and respect..Peace and love to you. ❤
You could use a burkini without the scarf.
Excellent tip!
You don't need to check it for shatnez?
Only if it’s made with linen and wool
Very practical 👍
Its cute!

You look cute!!!❤
You're at sesame!!!!❤❤❤
Genius!
Such a beautiful son 🫶🏻
It works.. 👍
Can you explain more about kosher toys? 😮
Where is that custom from ? ( regarding the toy and the seal I mean )
Nowhere. The idea that seals (real ones) are not kosher is from the Old Testament.
@@saraschneider6781 I know, same with shellfishes, eels and so on. But where does the toy custom specifically come from ?
I saw a woman from saudia arabia in a modest swim dress over swim leggings
What is a kosher plush animal?
Lovely respectfully
Guess god didn’t think it was modest enough
You guys seem cool but its super tough to trust you folks after, nvm cool vid
The rain was a blessing- better not to go to a water park- a place of immodesty.
👸
😮 isn't it, it's obligatory to cover your head and hair...????
She is. That's a wig. Not her hair
HOw nice to know that you too dress modest . I thought that its only muslims who dress modest
Islam copied that from the Judaism along with many other things. Judaism is approximately 1,900 years older than Islam.
Non Kosher stuffed toys?
What a kosher animal toy? Like he can only own stuffed animals he can also eat?

Why can't they have a soft you that isn't kosher? You aren't eating it or suggesting he will eat it
Kosher animal toys?!
I'm a woman and I wear men's t shirt
Shalom , I thought you not supposed to wear a man’s shirt nor a man wear a woman’s shirt .
Isn’t it a mitzvah not to wear the opposite genders clothes. Or are t shirts neutral
