its better to use a physical tuner. unlike apps that use actual recordings of the note, tuners measure the frequency making it a lot more accurate 👍👍

online tuners only work if your ears can match the tones exactly. otherwise you wind up with some strings that are sharp & some that are flat. definitely use a physical tuner, if you have one

I tune my acoustic guitar down to either a 'B ' or an 'A '. I use very heavy gage strings .070 or .068. With a .058 or even a .056 you can get a step low. 😊
Whatever you do don't try tuning it to standard with strings that large it will bend maybe even break the neck.🤯

Quick question, if i tune my guitar to half step down should my bassist tune his to half step down too or keep his tune to standard? Does it matter? Since we're playing a song that plays in that tune, and last question, can this also be applied to bass?

Hi im little confused here,
So in guiter tuna the thickness E shows E4 and the thinnest E shows E2 but,
i have some other tunner which is the opposite of this.Also i looked up that the standard tunning has E2 A2 D3 G3 B3 E4.
