I have been a Prince superfan from day one starting with the song Soft and Wet from the late seventies. I had the opportunity to see him in concert several times. Pure artistry. There will never be another💜

I came to watch you do your makeup because I need some inspiration to get back into doing my own makeup again. Talking about Prince while putting on makeup took me back to the late 80's when my friends and I would listen to his Sign Of The Times album while doing our makeup. And then the 90's when Gett Off was my favorite song from his diamonds and Pearls album and I would play that song over and over again as loud as I could! I regret that I never had the opportunity to see him in concert. Prince was the first artist to become vocal about owning his music. He fought hard to own his music.

I remember hanging out with a friend walking and singing “Starfish and Coffee”. I’ve been in love with him ever since. And what’s wild is that he has so much music that I’ve yet to hear. His catalogue is mad vast. I’ve to start listening to more of his stuff.

I am a super fan! I remember I had posters of him in my bedroom when he 1st came out. Of course, my parents made me take them down, after hearing me sing, "Soft & Wet" at 11yrs old!
We got to see him in concert in 2006 and he was amazing!

I HAVE BEEN A PRINCE FAN SINCE I WAS ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD. MY MOM BROUGHT HOME HIS "I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER" ALBUM. AND THAT WAS ALL HE WROTE. SO I EVEN LOVED HIS "FOR YOU" ALBUM, AND ALL THE SONGS ON THERE. HIS SONGS "STILL WAITING", AND "WITH YOU", GOT ME THROUGH SOME EMOTIONAL POINTS. BUT I AM STILL SO IN LOVE WITH PRINCE, ESPECIALLY WATCHING HIM GO FROM BEING SO ON HORSE SO HIGH, THEN HAVING TO HUMBLY HUMBLE HIMSELF AND SHOW HIS REAL HUMAN SIDE WITH SO MUCH GRACE. I LOVE THE MAN. BUT I DON'T FEEL HE IS DEAD. I THINK HE FOUND SOME WAY TO GET AWAY FROM THE WORLD SO THAT HE COULD LIVE A REGULAR HUMAN RETIREMENT.

yes I definitely want the way I do my make up to get better, always want to continue to grow because school is always in, and I want to learn as much as I can before I leave this, basically that’s what everything but since we’re talking about make up yes I definitely need to get better at all times, I’m here for that! 🥰👩🏾🦲🥰 just because I’m a platinum senior citizen. Don’t mean I don’t want to improve you know the old saying, you can’t teach your old new tricks first of all I’m not a dog on the human, and second of all, I’m open to learn new tricks to do things, a lot of people are not open to change 🙋🏾♀️ but I’m here for it to add to time is classic ways some things that are classic won’t change because I see people still doing the classic ways and thinking that it’s new but it’s not they just added to it. I took some things from it because there’s nothing new under the sun, but I like to add and make things better. That’s what is all about like back in the day they used it black velvet, they scraped it under their lids to make their eyelashes thicker, and back in the day with orange lip 👄 stick came out. They use it as a concealer to conceal dark circles from underneath the eyes 👀 etc., etc. now they have products that are especially made for dark circles under the eyes to hide them back in the day we use powder puffs of course they been back for some years sponges we use them they were shaped different, etc. etc. placing sparkles on your face old school so people got it from some religions, like I said, there’s nothing new under the sun, altered, Drop stitch basically nothing new on the sun, we used to call him high heels shoes were pointed appointed that you can kill a roach 🪳 in the corner and then they renamed them as stilettos 👠 🤣😂😅 nothing new under the sun. I remember when they used to use hairspray to set your make up and some people still do because what’s in the ingredients of that Ben Nye if you read the ingredients is the same ingredients in hairspray and we know that this company was studio make up, and then it became popular way before the Kardashians, There’s nothing new on the sun, but it’s always a beautiful thing to revolve because school is always in! 😍😍👩🏾🦲
