I have just booked a bali trip and am curious about the whole bali belly saga…. I notice you guys having ice in your drinks and eating everything, did you have any experience with being told not to have ice or did it affect you guys at all?

We were really lucky and didn’t really experience Bali belly! I think the worst it got for us was after we had a salad because obviously they wash the lettuce etc so after that we just stayed away from salads but everything else was fine! We didn’t drink any water unless we saw it come from a bottle and we brushed our teeth with bottled water. We were really worried about it though but we were fine!

We paid 500k for 2 people on a day bed so I assume it’s per daybed :)

@@TaliaMaizels thank you! Going in Sept so just getting prepared! What were the mosquitoes like? Did you have to wear repellent everyday?

The reason you cant order go jek or grab in certain areas and why the drivers say they cant come down there is because the local taxi mafia's rule the areas and they can be violent towards the go jek drivers who 'steal their business' really sad :( because the go jek drivers are just trying to do their job X
