its an awesome engine jeff, had it in her for 3 yrs - flew her for 2 yrs constantly with no engine issues, she sat on a shelf for a yr then fired up and run perfectly and flew great, also there is virtually no vibration going through the air frame and radio gear, id deffo recommend one m8,
1. Is it possible to use it for long range distance? 2. In the full tank, how much flight time 3. In full tank, that would be the distance in miles in a straight run ( point A to Point B) 4. Have you ever considered mission planner PixHawk/ Ardupilot?

Great flying! I have this same set up and love it. I am on my second one though. Tip... If you didnt glue the stabilizer down to the fuselage, Do it!! I blew my tail off flat and level when I went to roll. I only bolted my tail on. My new one is both bolted and glued! They are discontinued so anything to help this great plane to last!! Love it!
Very well flown! Absolutely love my Valiant as well - but recently bent my wing tube with no where near this type of energetic flying - just wondering if you guys have not maybe had to replace one already ?
thanks drool, in the first two videos deano flew her just as hard with just the standard wing tube supplied, but after dropping and denting it (my fault) we replaced it with a 1mm thick walled aircraft factory grade aluminium tube (supplied by a friend) now we have peace of mind - lol

thanks ranger, yes the model is designed for a 30cc petrol engine but i fitted the dle 40cc and it was the best thing i could have done, more power and virtually no vibration from the airframe !
Do you know Pete when the car is a little carbon up and you decide to let the son have it for the night because you know when he brings it back it'll be running better and It will be all cleared up? Well that's all Dean's doing to your little baby clearing it up for you.
hes not showing off sacha, he is the uk freestyle champion and that is how he flies - hes just good at it i guess ! and your wrong because the model is designed to fly like that and has done many times without any problems !

ive heard of the supplied tube failing on other models so it would be prudent to replace it with a thicker walled tube just in case drool,
