  • Fried "kuey teow" noodles are a type of noodles enjoyed by all Malaysians. Although originating from Chinese cuisine, these noodles have now become a synonum with Malaysian cooking.
In the northern town of Alor Setar, Kedah, there is a restaurant that is famous for selling only one type of dish - fried kuey teow noodles with clams. It's called "Kuey Teow Kerang Iman" (Iman's Clam Kuey Teow) and is located at Lebuhraya Sultanah Bahiyah, Taman Pandan, 05250 Alor Setar, Kedah.
It's a fairly simple dish to cook, with just a few key staple ingredients - namely noodles, clams chillies, soy sauce and vegetables . However despite the simplicity this restuarant has become the choice for both locals and visitors to enjoy this kuey teow dish.
But what does our host, Rhys, think about the taste? Watch this episode of "Hungry Brit Abroad" to find out!
