Also, this game looks like it wants you to be aggressive, like Bloodborne. Attacking gives you the chance to get back lost health, and more health flasks (whatever they're called in this game). It's easy to get greedy when you know you need those flasks.

Looks great, but I'm kinda bothered that the enemies have almost the same animation as Bloodborne/Souls games, even the dogs do that bark before they charge.
The bark on that metal dog is one of the coolest sounds. This is also the second time I've commented on the sound effects for this game...so they must be doing something right.

You only can get health back from the last hit you took by hitting the enemy back within 5 seconds, so something completely different. That you sometimes would've to farm blood phials was actually even one criticism players had, as compared to say the flasks in other Soulsgames, so that how it works in this game is completely eliminating that issue, makes it even more strange, that you would say "Taken directely from bloodborne".
with this and steelrising on the horizon (and hopefully elden ring dlc soon?) , there is much too look forward to for fans of the souls-like games , although none of these have the same degree of polish elden ring has ofcourse. still , even AA- souls-like games can provide a lot of fun if the systems in place are fun and the combat smooth enough

Like others have said, really like the 'refill your health item by attacking' mechanic. The only other game I've seen it used was in Hellpoint. Its a nice twist on the single health item idea that fits really well into souls like games. Probably means the maximum amount won't be too high to balance it out, really loving what I'm seeing from this
This looks great! Love the aesthetic. The sound design could do with some work though. That sword sound seems the same for every enemy, which is probably gonna grate after a while

Looking at Lords of the Fallen and Surge. Im like Dark Souls was never clunky except maybe DS1 yet all the imitators outside of Nioh are this way...so weird lol
@@DV-ou1yu the ds1 clunk was still quite smooth and crisp. Especially with low equip load. All the other souls imitators make the characters sluggish like they're moving in molasses
Bloodborne is by far my favorite From Soft game and this looks like the sequel I’ve V always wanted. And it’s launching into Gamepass? This is a megaton banger for Xbox no doubt.
The game seems to me very lacking: particles, dust, debris flying in the air. Therefore, the picture looks too sterile and unnatural, although beautiful!

This of all Soulslike announced looks the more promising. They have to implement the animations, the lighting, the battle sounds and put actual shadows on the models. Other than that, the weapons looks like it does only one kind of attack animation, other then the special one, wich makes all look like a little jankier. But if this a pre-alpha they have much room for improvement.

Loving the atmosphere to the level designs
That would be my only issue. It severely lacks atmosphere compared to bloodborne. Otherwise it looks great.
level designs look kinda lame, the streets/buildings are not very complex and look all the same.
Bloodborne for example is far more diversified.

It's crazy how you managed to bore me with an "exclusive" gameplay. Game seems fun and complex and you didn't even try to parry.
