RIP Mark Lovell. We were on the stage 20 years ago in Oregon USA where He & Roger Freeman perished. We were honored to have talent like them come to the US rally scene.
Got to watch these cars on this particular rally and will forever be grateful that I was around to experience them.Great memories of the best era in rallying.
10:55 - this music was also used as the intro and outro music for the official F1 review of 1985!

Brilliant onboard with Coleman at 11 and a half minutes, driving against the odds comparing the Porsche to the Metro etc but suberb commitment.
Some of those slides were close to disaster but massive commitment and massive balls
Billie Coleman just nailed it! Amazing driving skills!
Amazing content and so many great memories of when rallying was at its best, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Insane onboards with Coleman in the 911 ! 😅
Great to see a non sequential gearbox.
Thanks for these three part vids. 👍 Happy days.
Three part? There's two more days to go yet! :)
Super enjoying these over the Easter break, cheers!
Glad you like them!
The Mc Rae 🏴 father driving insane in the rain.. flat out 🙌🏁
Magnificent era for rallying. If memory serves, a year later, in 1987, you could buy a clubman spec 6R4 for a little over 13 grand.
Harri not Henri car 15..
I was gonna say the same. Commentary error. If it was Henri?... then it was a ghost.
Well Henri was still living in March 86..he died a month or so later in Corsica
@@mairesavage6815 my bad, I didn't realize this rally was so early on in the year
06:30 - Looks like Llangadog to Brynamman mountain pass.
Irish Rallying memories 👌
Good rally car driver ing
