This is the first video I've seen of yours. I checked to see if you are still creating, and have determined that you are not under this name anyway. Compliments are never too late. I want you to know in just 2 minutes how impressed I was with you. With your ease of speaking and your your detail in explaining to us. Whatever you're doing, I wish you the best. Thank you.
You make it so easy to follow! I love this card and will make it for my son-in-law early next year when my new grandchild is born! It will be perfect to congratulate him!
Keenan Kreations George will be born in early February! My son-in-law will be getting this card.....now if only I could find "NY Yankees" paper to make the shirt out of it would be perfect! ;-)
I really enjoyed making this shirt and tie card but what I didn't expect was the instructions on how to make the collar the same pattern as the shirt. Many of my paper is white on the back so I was very happy about that. Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant demo - clear instructions and no talking for the sake of it. Loved it and will definitely be making someof those cards - really enjoyed your video, thanks
I enjoyed watching you and listening to your instructions. You have a wonderful way of showing each step and what I like the most about your video was how prepared you were and right to the point. I get so frustrated when someone goes off on a tangent that has nothing to do with the project at hand, or can't find something they need due to not being prepared but my biggest pet peeve is when the video is so long when it wasn't necessary. You are Fantastic, Thank You for sharing and I love how you did the shirts and ties. I hope you will continue doing videos.
Thank you so much Linda! I try to keep the videos as short as possible but still share the steps and any useful tips I can think of. Making the initial video is the easiest (and most fun :-) part, editing it after - not so much! Glad you stopped by and appreciate the kind words - made my day :-)
I forgot to say that I really like how you explain steps as you go along and give details right away on the sizes and scoring. You're easy to understand and it's easy for me to stop and make notes and start again. Thanks for showing!
I just made this card as per your instructions and it turned out really nice!! Thank you so much for your great ideas, as well as easy to follow instructions. I love it!
This is fabulous !! I really enjoy watching your tutorials because you are very precise, give all the measurements and it's very easy to follow THANKS so much! Please do more videos!!!!!!!!!
I really like this card.. Thanks for sharing it, its so easy to make, after i saw this video. I made it in a classic look, white shirt and black tie, on a black background. It just looked soo good.
Yay, I did it.... I made the shirt and tie part of the card. Can you tell me what size is the card part that goes behind the shirt and tie? That was the only thing that was missing from the video, other than that it came out great!
WOW! I love this! What a neat idea. It's perfect to give a guy for any occasion. I can't wait to try this. I know it won't be anywhere as nice as your card, but it'll be fun to try. Thank you so much for sharing. Thumbs up!! :-)
Just saw your comment - thank you! Mocha Morning was my favorite DSP but you can also use any papers that are tropical or touristy - I used a new one that had cameras on it :-)
I luv this card so much Brenda! I've made two already and I just did a video on one I made with a bow tie, but I put the link to your video for the tie version bc in my video I show one of the tie ones i made and I tell them to go to your video to see how to make it! TFS!!!
Tiffany Heggs Hi Tiffany! TH-cam won't allow links in the comments section but you can email it to me - my email address is in the above description. Can't wait to see it! Also, I'm on Pinterest (Keenan Kreations) if you want to send it to me there :-)
This is so cute! But every time you slide your finger down the edge of the paper when you're describing the size, i think you'll get a paper cut! Made me wonder if that's why you have a bandaid on.
Hi Jack! At my class, we stamped the greeting (happy birthday or happy father's day) on a separate piece of cardstock, punched it out with the Modern Label Punch and added it to the front of the card with Dimensionals (it overlapped the tie a little). The message was stamped/written on the inside of the card :-)
Lojain Nadir No need to ask for permission! I'm happy to share and am hope to provide inspiration to other crafters :-) Would love to see your project too, share the link!
i just knew you were gonna end up with a papercut!!! running your finger along the edge I could hear the motion..uuuugh.. Great tutorial though! I'm about to start my Father's Day/Cards for Male Role models cards today for my church!
I like the part when the collar is the same color as the shirt. If you ever make another video with variations you might want to put put them at the beginning so we don't cut without having another option... I'm going to do this card for my husband's male employees.
Thank you Nicole! I had not thought of that. I usually watch videos all the way through and then a 2nd time when making the card. I'll remember your suggestion if I redo this one :-)
Haven't seen this card for years. Always a fun & easy card to make. Thank you for the reminder.

Thank you and congrats on your new grandbaby!
Keenan Kreations George will be born in early February! My son-in-law will be getting this card.....now if only I could find "NY Yankees" paper to make the shirt out of it would be perfect! ;-)
It might be easier to find paper that has the Yankee colors - good luck!

I really enjoyed making this shirt and tie card but what I didn't expect was the instructions on how to make the collar the same pattern as the shirt. Many of my paper is white on the back so I was very happy about that. Thank you!

I really like this card.. Thanks for sharing it, its so easy to make, after i saw this video. I made it in a classic look, white shirt and black tie, on a black background. It just looked soo good.

Leslie Flores Sorry about that Leslie! The card base is standard: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" :-)
Thank you again! Will try that now. Have a great rest if your weekend if I don't hear from you again, you've been so kind!

No it is not so much good
Thanks Carol! Hope to post more for masculine cards :-)
How would you make this shirt & tie with the paper that SU has now? I'm having a lot of trouble with new paper..........
I would choose papers that have the stripes, plaid or a geometric pattern.
very nice work
Love it! Thank you.
Are there written instructions for this card?
was your tie paper thinner cardstock? I tried this and my tie didnt come out the same.
Hi Beverly, yes. It was designer series paper, much thinner than cardstock
Excellent....
beautiful, thank you
Thank you for watching!
Thank you, very well done.
Thank you Charryse!
Why didn't you give the measurement for the cardstock you glued the shirt to?
My mistake! 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
Oh this is so cute, I'm gonna wow my honey with card!! Thanks doll
You're welcome Tiffany! I'd love to see your finished project too :-)
ok because it turned out AWESOME!! I can't wait to give it to my hubby !!
So I can't figure out how to send u a pic of my card :(
Tiffany Heggs Hi Tiffany! TH-cam won't allow links in the comments section but you can email it to me - my email address is in the above description. Can't wait to see it! Also, I'm on Pinterest (Keenan Kreations) if you want to send it to me there :-)
Ok thanks doll
Does the shirt card then open up like a card so you can write something in it or is it just a postcard which would be fine with me. Thank you! :)
Hi Janice, the shirt is on the front of a regular folded card (8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4) 🙂
This is so cute! But every time you slide your finger down the edge of the paper when you're describing the size, i think you'll get a paper cut! Made me wonder if that's why you have a bandaid on.
Gonna try this now...
Very Nice Card
Muito criativo,adorei.
+Luzia Ferreiracamargo Thank you!
Great stuff, but I want to know where you write the message, because the reason for the invitation card is the design and message, thank you
Hi Jack! The message was stamped/written on the inside of the card :-)
