Those poor orcas kept in that tank for the last 15 years - they swim 100 miles a day in the wild, imagine you and your family were locked in a box and people came to watch you 'perform'. So sad for them all!
All animals at loro parque are rescued and wouldn't survive in the wild. One of these orcas lost its mother due to fishing, it was discovered she was deaf they have manage to teach the orca sign language so they can communicate with it. It was quite a moving story.
