- Detective Pikachu Returns - Deoxys Final Battle + Ending [1080p HD]
This video shows the final boss fight against transformed Merloch + ending in Detective Pikachu Returns for the Nintendo Switch.
For anyone who wanted a Mewtwo vs Deoxys fight, this is about as close as you could get.
Even we can only watch them as spectators. It's still cool enough to see them clash each other.
Yeah except in here deoxys didn't change forms
It also occurred in the Adventures manga.
An interesting twist here is that he remembers being Pikachu in the movie he doesn’t
Pikachu doesn’t know what happen Harry merge in pikachu. Who knows..
Start of this video looks like a part of Resident Evil 2 😂
That's what I was saying, reminds me too much of Resident Evil/Die Hard/The Terminator/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon all in one game....If one movie reference wasn't enough, there were TWO of them, one at the beginning, and one at the ending....Dang, I thought that the player got a bad ending and thus Tim's father died in the explosion...Turns out it was fake and it got the best ending instead...So yeah, my mind was blown that this game actually ended up doing what the film did back in May 2019, but at least Tim's dad looks like the goodman family compared to Tim in the film and having Ryan with blond hair be his dad (Felt off to me if you ask my point of view).
😏👍🏼
Feels like the Ryan Reynolds movie spoiled the ending to this game. And that came out 4 years ago (at the time of this writing)
I can tell Nintendo took a lot of notes from the Detective Pikachu Movie in order to make this game.
I feel the plot of this game was already laid out when the original game was made.
@@wikiuser92 yeah Harry and Pikachu being fused together was hinted at back in the ending of the first game.
Just got to this in my game and man Merloch is giving me the Professor Hojo vibes 😅. Btw this also reminds me of Bill turning himself into a pokemon
17:17 reminds me in the movie but with Mewtwo
That panda pokemon was part dark type, right? It got beaten by psychic. Was that psychic-type move?
That also happen in the film, psyduck vs greninja
It was probably from being thrown against the wall more than anything.
Mewtwo & Deoxys fight like Dragon Ball Z.
I feel like Detective Pikachu is what the Mystery Dungeon series would be like if it actually happened.
Wow. It doesn’t come out until tomorrow and you’ve already beaten it
It’s a really short game
Plus there's a story jump mode, so you can skip straight to the end.
Merloch
Sounds like Merlock from Disney
I thought Charles Merloch sounded like Enrico Pucci?
I'm predicting a sequel to the Pikachu movie
Urgh.
While I loved the Detective Pikachu Movie, I really did not like the ending. It really sucks that they reused that here.
You mean the dad being Pikachu ending? Because I think everyone saw that coming a mile away in the first game!
@@darksoul1004 yep.
@@darksoul1004I definitely at least VERY STRONGLY suspected it before the first game ended! I played through the first game with my little niece, and I remember telling her I thought Harry might be in Pikachu's body. I was so upset when the game ended without them finding anything out! Didn't know if there would be a sequel or not. Then the movie came out and confirmed my suspicions...
Wait, why was pikachu confused at the end?
I didn't understand it either
Maybe Pikachu was confused because it didn't know what happened the past two games since Harry's conscience was in Pikachu's body the whole time? Remember, it's stated in-game that Detective Pikachu Returns takes place 2 years after the original.
@@Nathan11107 yeah but why in that very precise moment?
@@flaviocerboni6583 I don't know. I couldn't think of any other explaination.
Hold the phone Pangoro is a dark type.
Deoxys psychic sudent ben eny effekt.
I didn't want to get the game spoiled for me, but then this shown on my recommendations and it ruined it for me. It all ruined.
The movie spoiled this game 4 years prior
@@Joshua05005Even the movie spoiled a tad different than game version.
@@Joshua05005 It did, but at least the movie got excuse
Yes, I agree. But because of the Movie differences it had a excuse
To be honest, even this was recommended but I did watch a full walkthrough before I got to the ending...And yeah, sadly the movie spoiled it so, I doubt if they ever make a sequel it would even follow the original film and end up having the same plot twist done twice in two separate films.
Something tells me this isn’t the end
This game is amazing and i love it but there's one thing that's bothering me after I beat detective Pikachu, What became of deoxys thats now it's in aruora drop form
the ending is so confusing is this gamefraak telling us this series is over???
The divorce literally didnt mean anything
Now the trainer become a Pokemon in Indigo Disk.
knowing that the first detective pikachu came out on the 3DS before the movie came out, i wonder if this game means the movie is getting a sequel
Maybe?!
The game doesn't come out until tomorrow, so this video contains spoilers!!! 😑 🎉
You should know how game reviewer always get an early copy. Also you choose to watch the spoiler yourself, you could refrain from watching.
Cry harder
This game looks ass I can’t lie
I mean it is a switch game and they definitely cheaped out on the transitions and animations in the game, considering how the graphics are no different from the Nintendo Wii/Wii U of all places, and even that console had much sharper graphics than this console of course.
@@SuperFlashDriver I can think of a few Switch games that look miles better than this
@@seroujghazarian6343 Then please tell me which ones are superior to this one. Because yes, while the graphics look like shit, at leas the story is somewhat competent compared to the movie/first game.
Awww
36:42 DAD, NOOOOO!!!
In the end of “A Plan That Transcend Time from Detective Pikachu™” (The worst Pokémon™ video game ever in 2023) for Nintendo Switch™, with the machine down and not working, Pikachu deduces that an imbalance in the two energies is needed to push Merloch out. So, Pikachu takes the two energy cores, and they all go to the top of the machine. However, Nocturne Energy and Deoxys are charging attacks that will destroy the building if unleashed. Pikachu intervenes by using Volt Tackle into Rayquaza, who is energized into Deoxys. This works, but the lab starts to explode and gets corrupted by the cyber-energy. Pikachu is unable to muster the strength to leave the laboratory floor until it starts to glitch, losing corruption caused by the cyber-energy. Tim shouts, “DAD… PIKACHU, NOOOOO!!!” outside of the lab, causing further corruption by the cyber-energy. Tim is upset at his father’s fate. The scene shifts, and a better-looking 3D CGI anime cel-shaded Owain from Fire Emblem™ Awakening grabs a better-looking 3D CGI Pikachu and a better-looking 3D CGI Eevee. The characters’ appearances have evolved over the years such as a 2D traditional anime Alphen and a 2D traditional anime Shionne from TALES OF ARISE™ (2021 video game) for PlayStation®5, a better-looking 3D CGI anime cel-shaded Chrom and better-looking 3D CGI anime cel-shaded Lucina from Fire Emblem™ Awakening (2012/13 video game), CGI Link (Champion’s Tunic) from The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild (2017 video game) for Nintendo Switch™, 3D CGI cel-shaded Sly Cooper, CGI Mario and CGI Luigi, and CGI Ori. Before Tim, Rachel, and Howard starting to scare, glitching, corrupted by the cyber-energy, and they disappeared before the Ryme City are now corrupted by the cyber-energy. The end.
