Brilliant! Look how busy the place is and the people are so obliging too.
Growing up in the late 70s and 80s, I'm glad I was lucky enough to at least experience the tail-end of Rhyl's glory during the 20th Century. Happy days!

Used to go to Rhyl every year for our holidays with mum dad and grandparents, we stayed in a glorified shed at Talacre but they were great times in the 60s. Took my own children up to the 80s so sad to see it nowadays!!!

Loved going Rhyl Towyn and Frith beach 70's 80's 90's .When we stayed in a caravan 1970's we went to Rhyl swimming baths and had a bath as the caravans didn't have showers or baths in.

The guy playing the accordion on the pleasure boat was Harry Hughes … I photographed him in his later years (about 1985) for a newspaper feature on his life.

I was born in Rhyl in the mid 50’. It was a magical place to grow up but sadly it ha seen a steady decline since the late 70’. They have tried to get it back to how it was but it’s too little too late. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍
