I'm just so glad that this is a direct continuation from the 80s version. I heard that it's done by the same people that did Castlevania, the studio. The cast too Lena Headley, Mark Hamil and Sarah Michelle Gellar. I have watched the trailer again and again. When the drums come in and the music starts I start crying. All I'm saying is, as a continuation from the 80s one it better live up to the hype. I mean we got a Thundercats and it only had one season then Thundercats Go that no one asked for. She Ra is decent enough. But THIS...this had to be gold. Anyway too hyped up need to watch the trailer again. Nostalgia hitting hard!

Although I’m glad the new generation of kids and adult collectors are getting another Masters of the Universe toy line in the classic style of designs, (and no I’m not referring to Masters of the Universe Classics) I unfortunately have to say there are a lot of problems with Masters of the Universe Origins, that being the quality control, the rarity it is to find certain characters in stores, and those darn exclusives and doubles packs being REALLY hard to find and how so many people are being let down in getting them. As I said, the quality control Mattel “puts” into their figures is lacking, all of the figures don’t look alike and it makes it even harder to buy them off the internet because they can either show you the actual figure in the package or out out of it that may or may not have bad paint or sculpt or if you see just the image of the prototype or finished product that makes it look stellar, but when you get it, BOOM you get the figure with bad paint or bad sculpt.
Part of it was that I was exhausted and hadn't gotten much sleep haha! But yeah, I'm the guy at the concert who is standing still in the mosh pit trying to soak in every bit of the performance.
I am wondering what changed with Orko. He used to be a really child like character that could do good comic relief and whose spells didn't usually work exactly as he'd planned. This seems like an aged up Orko that's more of a warrior. I'm wondering who they'll shift the comedy onto or if he'll still fill that role.
I just wonder why the MOTU property not only has 1 new cartoon, but also a CGI one. I don't think there's ever been two different versions of MOTU running concurrently.
If you remember the original, Teela was the Sorceress's daughter, so I wonder if the Sorceress dies and she inherits that place. However, inheriting the same power would mean that, like the Sorceress, she would only be able to use her magic in close proximity to Castle Greyskull, so while she'd be a big part, there's not really an avenue for her becoming more of a secondary protagonist than she already was.

If that actually happens, that would blow my frickin’ mind. And it would make some sense to have, essentially, the essence of Grayskull be personified to either defend itself if Skeletor gets too close to the power or if it can speak to people who are in tune with Grayskull.
Also, I know everyone isn’t fond of this one character, but since you brought up Castle Grayskull Man as being a fan character, I’d hope that they’d bring The Mighty Spector as a time traveling BAMF who would fight for a future King He-Man if his Kingdom is on the brink of destruction or invasion and Spector has to go back to maybe prevent that fate while being blind to dangers he could cause to the space time continuum and the future inhabitants as well. Also, I’d LOVE to see Darego Man as one of Skeletors cronies, that would be hardcore.
All I wanted to know after watching the trailer....was what you thought about it. Glad to see you made a video. (Excellent lighting, depth, by the way) One of the things I noticed was the symbol was changed on He-Man's chest armor. Lastly, I would absolutely love it if He-Man, after the credits did a PSA about not taking drugs. Great job on this video. Really enjoyed it.

Good honest reponse. If the show remains true to this trailer, than it could be like you said, the best of the 80's and 2000's version mixed together which would be fantastic. If they try and pull a woke 'bait and switch' the way they did with 'Voltron' and 'She-ra', that will be not good, especially considering how important 'Masters of the Universe' is to Mattel.
