FOr the door, the wonky hitboxes work quite well, it makes it snap into position. A bit of logic to time the thrust duration so that it will stop in place and we're golden.

That twisty thing you designed looked awfully similar to a toy that was popular in the early 80s. I think it was just called "The Magic Snake". Any every alternating section was white and the other color could be green, blue, or red based on which toy you purchased. You could make it into a ball, or all kinds of interesting shapes. Pretty fun fiddle toy.
I saw the sawblade car drawing from the corner of my eye and for some reason the first thing that came in my mind was "cannibal hamster burger". I don't know why. But I like it.
Doors in survival seem to be an exception. By doors in survival I mean doors spawned by the world and are part of the tile. One of my favorite things to do is to go to the ruined sleeping pods at the mechanics station and bait the haybot that spawns in there to the entry way of that pod. Then I repeatedly smack the door into it until it gives up. That being said, we need to be able to craft those doors. I want to build just a death trap of a corridor. Haybots go in, I come out with scrap metal and circuit boards. Sometimes component kits.

According to "Beyond the Press," buzzsaw wheels work surprisingly well on frozen lakes? Also helps if you're a famously Finnish maniac with a safety cat!
Id like a special episode of this, where he doesnt try to be drawing accurate but intention/imagination accurate. Like taking his time to make the most awesomely detailed versions of things instead of going for minimalism.
The door with the collision problem would kinda work, if you would time the truster perfectly it could open and close perfectly. the collision can help in correctly aligning the door.
You should totally use the sawblades specificaly for drifting !!! :O like put a mechanism that use sawblades on piston and when they touch the groud the wheels lift up so its only the sawblades supporting the back !

tip for car creators in this game, if you want to make a drift car put saws on wheels because of that the car will leave the side easily and if it has an imperfection it will have more speed because as it is possible to observe the collision is not perfect, the mountains pass through the land
Suggestion for Multiplayer monday. Saw blade wheel battle race. Gotta race on a track using saw blades for wheels. You can attack each other using the wheels. First person to pass the finish line or the last person left standing wins. It could get very interesting.

I think with the jet powered drag car, if you put the thrusters up a bit higher it should act as a lever pushing the nose wheel down maybe
