BRICS in Energy Security: Just Energy Transition For All

In this special side event episode, we engage in meaningful conversations to explore the role of energy transitions and security in policymaking to understand the long-standing implications of climate change and energy production systems in BRICS countries.
In this special episode, we host Ms Yomna El-Awamri, Founder and C.E.O. of Carbon Impact Lab; Dr Pamreihor Khashimwo, who Worked as a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the University of Delhi; Dr Jyotsna Singh, Associate Professor at the University of Lucknow; and Ms Pranusha Kulkarni, Senior Program Associate at the World Resources Institute, India, in collaboration with the BRICS Youth Energy Agency.
The event intends to understand and nurture supportive strategies and impactful policy options to drive growth by empowering businesses and youth-led networks and innovation systems. Moreover, the event intends to leverage knowledge exchange mechanisms to accelerate clean energy solutions through multi-stakeholder collaborations by pushing the key role of the BRICS Youth Energy Agency in promoting innovation and cooperation.
