in which universe are the companions now equal? wasn't that the idea behind the changes? just a money maker... the same with the enchantments... changes that aren't really any, just aiming to encourage players to buy things. stagnation and recycling...
Tuesday march 28th I used one of mt weaker chatacters pally healers and that character was not in major or minor need for having one of the new 4 insignia mounts. Given the 10 seconds cool on lighting flash seems too long to be replaccing curstburn on most of my characters
Would like to see more testing on the assassin, like if multiple of them strike a target, does the debuff stack and if it dies does the debuff disappear and in that case can it reapply the bleed before it expires. I'll probably use it in st just because it has a debuff but from what I can see the honeybadger won't have 100% uptime on its +50% dmg so tomb spider would be the best.
@Aragon same thinking about just going defensive augment until more people learn mechanics. No fun burning scrolls and being the only dps left on phase 2 lol. Also test the demonic servant in the zen store please. Edit: just tried defensive augment and it felt great, I did less dmg but I was deathless until 2nd phase when our tanks were dying, even survived a blast from the mirrors.
U r da best :) I’m surprised about Mystagoge ranked so low for AoE. His circular blast seems to do big damage and a big range, perfect when we are surrounded. Plus his slow effect lasts many seconds. Also gives me a good chance to recharge my divinity (arbiter drama 😄) … anws mobs are easy to kill when slowed
I'm sticking w my Regis. He's still kicking ass and so is my Pseudo dragon. I do like that there are a variety of companions doing decent damage. This way players can use some of the companions, they already have and invest in other areas of their build.
Thanks for all your effort, Aragon...and I hope for the player base sake that many of your words did not fall on deaf ears, as I see that the "BIS" argument has a lot of subjectivity in M25 as companion range, buff/debuff abilities, and rotation may seem to play a larger part now (which is very nice). I'm still disappointed to think that with ~190 companions, most people will only use 2-3...so very disappointing.
Nice, ty for the hard work, i tested all my mythic companions and got the same, expect with my stats being a little higher, so they were all on 50-60k+ average dps, they did good job making them more inline with others now. Most dps in mtos still running pseudo dragon for now. 😎
I Agree with Regis. I think overall hes the best. I used him for a while. Regis. V and respawn. I use Pegasus mount power then Regis. Massive aoe. Dont need to change to dps loadout even.
For the master trial as a tr dps greenscale bowman or batiri seems like a better option. But I will look at your list Especially since during the new master trial when I was using the new assian she kept on getting killed to quickly to get her bleeds up

Spined devil still a good choice for st support, tutor seems less appealing with lack of damage and were the mirage weapons messed with ? Thanks in advance

New to NW but not RPGs. I am currently Human Wizard. What is the best Companion for me in the Zen store or something reasonably easy to get. I am gear 27K ATM.
Do not buy companions or mounts from the zen store. Look on the auction house. For a tank get companions that give defense stats, for a healer healing stats and for a dps for damage stats.

im not sure what this global nerf to comps was for they still die easily and increasing the dmg of previous low dmg comps is pointless when currently the top dmg comps are too unreliable and not worth using since menzoberranzan map is harder than sharaner/vos was, enemies hit hard and the web attacks that slows and deals dot i had to switch to tank as melee just to survive as dps melee i only got to use 2 encounter before the captains use web and i have to move to safety while range dealing dmg even with 25ppl on boss barb and fighter are just hiding from red zones and rogues are only dealing half of their max dmg so much for having choices and alternate paragon roles they are forcing us into certain roles with each mod
Seems like Regis has a bleed now with his blade's attack, or maybe I'm just crazy, more like he got buffed instead of nerfed, I think everyone should run him in dungeons now to speed up RAQ if you can afford it. Thanks for all your hard work, Aragon!
Splinters, heal is nice bonus but imo it's biggest advantage is the ability to knock down enemies. Non top IL players may find that ability life saving =)

I was solo in instance 37 by 3:30am and crashed out of nowhere. I purposely moved because no one was there I was farming LD and HEs by myself. It crashes a lot and makes it almost impossible to farm if you are with few more players farming
Your spreadsheet is confusing. Where does it show the aoe companions? Where would you rank the Mystagogue compared to the Regis a d Shadar-Kai Witch for aoe?
it's annoying that you guys cannot use the filters to sort comps, but for aoe you can use the max aoe hit as a rough guide. So for example can hit for 216k and Mysta 112k
not really possible, no. pretty much every aoe companion is different, and so can hit more or less enemies depending if they are spread or grouped up. So it really depends on the content, and their abilities, not their max damage
Not 100% uptime, but it is good for the few seconds it lasts. But typically companions listed as support are going to be ran by supports in the group(tanks and healers) so in a trial best options are tutor, drizzt, scorpion and spined devil. Outside of trials the only place pseudo can help is 2nd boss to9g or mtos last boss but usually in mtos I switch to scorpion as a dps and to9g is so easy it doesn't matter.

Sometimes, he attacks after they are already down. Also, he tends to die alot in skirmishes or boss fights. I stopped using him.
