Pacific octopus! Gonna need an escape proof tank.
Our local small aquarium had a problem with the octopus escaping from its tank and theyde finding it at the front door, in the morning, trying to get out the building.
Also need insanely, good filtration. So they don't accidentally kill themselves.

They used to come in with some frequency because they sold well before people figured out what they were. Nowadays they luckily don't come in often because 99% of people shouldn't be keeping them.

I think I saw the same video you're talking about where they toss a ball into the shark tank before feeding. What they're doing is very similar to what some reptile keepers do and is called target training. I've seen The technique/practice is used a lot with monitor lizards but I know that it works with alligartors, and Brian Barczyk has shown that it works with (some) snakes as well.

not necessarily breeding, but just getting rid of eggs to not getting egg bound and die :) He put the shark in a tectonic shock... quiet dangerous for them in the wild, some sharks drown when they sadly go into tectonic shock while breeding xD

Rod, good evening from the uk. I have come to the conclusion that fish sense something from camera's when you try to film them. Mine get real camera shy, rarely get a good shot, even though they were alright till i pointed the camera. Please do a video where you use camera vs mirror and camera. Or some other idea. Summa spooky wit phone cameras.

Life spans of octopus is only 2-5 years. Usually by the time you get them they're not babies. Moral of the story is don't get attached. Joey from king of diy hyped them up do much only to do 2 videos on them before they never made another appearance.
