  • Different spinning techniques depending on the floor and footwear
    Quick Tutorial by Julinha
Here are some ways to adapt your spinning techniques if the floor is very slippery or very sticky 💃
➡️ very sticky floor/ normal sneakers:
Step through your spins by internally and externally rotating your legs.
❗️This isn’t a good technique if you have any knee injury! I strongly recommend buying proper dancing shoes!
    ➡️ good floor/ dancing shoes:
The dream of every dancer 😂 for good technique keep your leg externally rotated and pivot on your metatarsus before doing the next weight transfer
➡️ too slippery floor/ shoes or socks:
To avoid slipping step as perpendicular as possible onto the floor and keep your steps underneath your hips ☺️
And as always my best advice: if you don’t know how the floor is going to be, take several different shoes with you! Your knees will be thanking you later 😘
👍 To support me: like this post if you liked it, save and comment 🙏
And share it with your one dancing friend that ALWAYS complains about the floor (oops that would be me 😅🙈)
