I kinda thought I would hate Elizabeth a lot more, but that isn't the case. I think it is because she didn't immediately ask for forgiveness after she found out Mike was Eggs Benedict, so her meanness comes off less as a road bump for drama and more as an intentional part of their journey.

Elizabeth was trapped in an underground facility for over a decade, tortured daily, neglected and abused by her own family, killed by a creation her own father made for her - not even mentioning the emotional and mental torment (EXCLUDING THE PHYSICAL) she endured, like what?? They are both in the wrong. Let's not forget Mike tortured his youngest brother daily to the point he sobbed hysterically daily, referencing god knows what trauma. They're both far from innocent, but hold him accountable?? "He's innocent he did it by accident" stop victimizing your favourite characters and actually use your brain for a second. Stop trying to redirect the blame.
Mike's whole story arc is redeeming himself, removing this or claiming him 'innocent' not only destroys him but makes him boring and characterless.
AU is an AU and I'm really hoping thats what you were referencing but in the case you werent; they both took someones life. Mike did it by accident and Elizabeth was under mental, physical, emotional, and all other TORTURE for years at a time by her own father and brother, so she kills him out of pure desperation. Both shitty but theres a clear line differentiating them
Imagine your older brother killed your youngest, then went and began physically tormenting you... I think you'd be a bit mad too.
