Well for one, it is gonna shorten the life of the glove. Basically it’s damaging the leather for a “softer” feel. One or two years down the line, the glove will not be able to hold any shape, resulting in a floppy mitt.

Maybe it was the time of year both visits...does it absolutely have to be right around spring to see the best selection of gloves? Ny was early summer, even though it was 2018 I remember like it was yesterday..I tried on an extremely used Prince Fielder model that was so worn out with faded logos and beyond broken in maybe Prince left his glove there by accident. That was the only high end model. Fl had a Cano 1786 and other 1786s but besides that it was almost as bad as Modells. Look at other state's Dick's. Very lucky
