- The luxury of winter airsoft is that you can always take a break in the airsoft war. The hot dinner is either served at your place just after returning from an airsoft battlefield or you can warm up yourself at the respawn. But in the real war it looks much different. In this part of Airsoft vs Reality we focused on problems with the winter airsoft gear and some scenes of famous battles from the World War 2.

You don't have to be from the country to understand. I don't want to explain the entire concept of it, but the gist is that they would rather burn in hell than freeze in the cold.

reality is a major wakeup call to airsofters. I spent 5 Xmas of my 11 1/2 years( in the Army) in combat zones. That is nothing compared to the old soldiers. Now they were real warriors. They are who I respect. They are the soldiers that deserve the right to complain and cry about it. Not,us. My 1st tour in Bosnia was the coldest winter there in 30+ years. It was cold and nothing worked like it should but, Where there is a will,there is a way. Excellent video again. AWESOME channel.

You're very welcome! These videos are really entertaining. It's literally the perfect mix of "amateur vs professional" quality. Your cast (assuming you're directing) nails a lot of the emotions on the "Reality" side of things and the script + acting absolutely nails the humor on the "airsoft" side of things. Thumbs up for all of the ones that I've watched! This one in particular really pulled on my heart strings though. Regardless of what side you're talking about, there were hundreds of thousands of incidents of attrition to hunger, thirst, disease, frostbite, trenchfoot, etc. that - people - had to deal with. Not all of them were in a firefight and this particular episode really touches on that element! Which I appreciate because it's really not something I've been able to put an image to (a passing thought to, something along the lines of, "man my hands are cold in the -10F Ohio winter + minus ten windchill - I bet it would have sucked to fight or actually be stuck in a winter storm [or Russia!]). Props to you and the whole team for that! :D I look forward to catching up on all the recent episodes and upcoming ones as well. They really are both entertaining and insightful if the viewer is willing to put a little thought - And empathy - into the equation.

Wow, super deep. On this channel's previous videos (at least the ones I've watched), the humor has been fairly shallow and the plots are unexciting. This video, however, is incredible. The perfectly edited scenes presented me with such deep remarks. Between the shooting of the wounded German in the first scene and the "Burn in hell." "But we are stuck here, in the cold" combined with the wounded American brushing off his injuries to the German (Yes, I am feeling for the German) who couldn't make it home for Christmas that year (or likely any year afterwards due to their campaign being suppressed), I feel like I have just seen a movie clip, you know, that one scene in all war movies where all hope is lost, yet you keep moving. I feel like I have just watched the climax to three of those movies. Very well done. Keep up the great work!

I hope you guys read this. I thank you for this. Not only do you have some great comedy. but you can really show what war really is. That last one got me. Most soldiers never made it home. Ever. there families only got pieces back. If they were lucky a whole body. That guy with frost bite.... He wont be coming home with a leg. Nobody wants to be away from their family for Christmas. Its a shame war exists.
+JJ Kennedy I recommend watching Generation kill. Not exactly as dramatic as what you described there but it gives a good view of today's American war.

I honestly loved the World War Two part. It really shows how brutal the war was, and how the troops had little humanity near the end of the war.

I am American and I'm just gonna say this: you did an out standing and great job on the United States Army Airborne troops. 101st. I especially like the alcohol, cigarette and coca cola that he opened with his bayonet. Very patriotic. Lol. At first I thought he was gonna cut his toes off because that's usually when you get alcohol and cigarettes. Lol. Oh what you have to cut part of my foot off? Okay. Fuck. great, ok I use often Canon 5D Mark II and the SONY A7S, but it looks like you use a gimbal or a software-stabilizer, that great for your footage!
We use very simple camera stabilizator. Maybe this year I will buy gimbal. We use Canon 550D and 60D as well. It has much more better stabilization.
