DIY ARB Awning Mount for Overland Setup

- With a little imagination and some Jeep funds, I was able to put together this awning mount for my Diamondback bed cover Overlanding Setup. The mount isn't just limited to my Diamondback setup, with a little imagination and some extra funds you can easily rework it to use on your setup. Below is the link and quantity of everything I used for this mount.

Nice work. I have the same Diamondback setup and rails except on a Tacoma. I'll be saving this as an option. Looking into a RTT atm and was considering an awning off the side. Solid mounting option.
Great video. I just commented on your Front Runner video since I am in the middle of a similar install on my 2017 Raptor. Now after watching this video I have another project to consider. In my case I would like to install the awning on the tailgate end since that is going to be my high use area (using the tailgate as a table top for makeshift kitchen when camping). I receive my IKamper Mini tomorrow and once I have it mounted, I can decide how to approach the awning. Thanks.

Great setup! I had the same wheels on the JL I traded for my JT. I kept the awning from my JL. Now I'm trying to figure out how to install it on my JT.

Great setup. How stable do you think the awning setup is if you do not use the front runner cross rack bars and just mount the extruded aluminum to the front runner rail system. How much flex or wobble would the awning and vertical bars have? Thanks
i think it would still be pretty strong, just put the brackets that are mounted on the front runner cross bars on the rails so the awning aluminum posts are supported on both sides. if that make sense.
I want to use some sort of rail system for my tacoma so that I don't have to buy a rack to attach an awning. Is it possible to get a rail system that isn't attached to a bed cover?
What’s the height of your gladiator? I have 37’ tires on my and thinking of doing the 3.5’ lift...just not sure if it will fit in my garage?
