Baratang island lies in the middle of Andaman and towards of Port Blair. On the way to Baratang we need to cross Jarawa tribe jungle then we reach our destination.
Baratang is famous for its naturally formed limestone caves, Mangrove forests and mud volcano. It’s pleasure for eyes to see all the these beauties. Fibre boat ride was the best part we thought first but witnessing natural caves was jaw dropping experience too.

Any id proof required to visit this island , my kid is 2.5 year old.. we dont have passport or aadhar for him.

Many travel blogs and article suggest it’s closed on Monday but local travel guide says it’s open on Monday as well.

As per our understanding it remains open ..but if you are booking your tour with any travel agent which is most recommended they will guide you in proper manner.
