The people in civilian Greek costumes, with a couple that look like Evzones - Elites of the Greek army - plus the alphabet confirm they are in Greece. But the band is dressed as the 1809 Duke of Brunswick's (Germany) Black HOrde - fighting against Napoleon's forces during the Danube campaign - Aspern/Essling and Wagram in Austria. Can anyone tell us more about this unit and the event?

Greece, sacred city of Messolonghi. It is the anniversary of a great siege that culminated with the Exodus of the defending Greeks (10 April 1826) and the destruction of their city by the Turks. Since then, this event is commemorated every year on Palm Sunday.
The uniform is the one worn by the Sacred Band of Alexander Ypsilantis at the start of the Greek revolution in 1821.
It is indeed almost identical to that of the Prussian infantry.
you can search for: Sacred Band, or Sacred Company, Battle of Dragatsani, June of 1821.
