the cheating issues on both premier and comp are a joke. it's either a full rage or just too much sus stuff happening to feel comfortable or have fun with the game

I agree. Over the past month/holidays its been so brutal! I don't even play comp anymore. Just casual and some deathmatch and it's been surprisingly refreshing. Going to give it another month or so with these new VAC updates to see if anything changes.... little faith though.

the reason why chulo's movement was so weird was because of a feature called auto strafe/directional strafe, allowing you to move faster in almost any direction.

Valve really gotta start putting out a good anti cheat, or just have ID linked with a Steam account, so they can take cheaters and cheat creators to court.

You do realize creating cheats isn’t illegal nor can you get sued for it right.
@@flush_entity Hackers are violating Steam ToS, also dont think it costs tons of money, especially if you combine the two methods.
First they Implement the WebID check, if someone cheats they already have the Name, Adress etc. so an automated cease and desist letter should do the trick in 95% of the times when they actually take someone to court to make an example.
The Problem with Hardware ID Bans is that you can easily spoof that, when you google for 30min to an hour.
Obviously there is always a chance that something like that gets leaked or hacked, but I think Valve has not had many of these incidents.

Secondly, the VAC wave is due to a feature called No Spread, which not so surprisingly removes spread from your weapon, it had been detected before, then most cheat providers bypassed this, then Valve managed to detect it again, although, I'm 99% sure its "safe to use" again, as they have bypassed once more.

Something I've noticed. the game will say I did x damage to someone but will be 100-(x+1) HP. I don't want to make too many assumptions but I have to think they're doing something with the precise aim of bullets to do small floating point damage to detect continuous hits on specific parts of the hit boxes. When an aimbot snaps it always snaps to the same spot, meaning you hit the same part of the hit box every time. Could be nothing, could be me reading into random nonsense, but if valve is going to these lengths to stop cheating it's a good thing and I applaud it.
that's hella outdated. you can customise aimbots to do almost anything, including hitting different zones, having variable aim etc.
Aimbot snaps at bones, not hitboxes. Bones are small points inside all boxes and aimbot just calculates angle from position of this point and localPlayer(cheat user)
It would take a few hours for cheat coders to randomize the location the cross hair jumps to each time you begin to shoot.

Don't get me wrong, he probably is cheating but you was watching him for a matter of a few seconds. To be adamant its a cheater based on that doesn't give me good hope for the rest.
I'm sure the video is going to redeem itself and I hate cheaters just as much as anyone else but, this was more along the lines of accusing him without any real proof.
Would probably be beneficial to lets things play out more then share your take before jumping the gun in situations like that.
First guy was blatantly cheating. Moved like a bot, couldn't aim but yet his bullets magically landed lol.

Not exactly sure if Ohtani is cheating from what we seen, the other 4 definitely are. Each time you called out Ohtani for being blatant- it wasn't.
First was the shadow at 1:33, then 2nd time was the smoke at 3:07 (you can see the guy jump at the edge of the smoke), 3rd time at 6:25 (he peaks the wall first, pretty common spot).
Still deserves a ban for cheater association though, he can't deny knowing about his team mates.
Played a game against a "oxpj" and a "chase" and on my team we had "zaza consumer". Entire game in 20k elo from start to finish was them in their spawns killing everyone. The guy said hes under the map.
People will not believe their eyes when 30% of the playerbase gets nuked.

@@adamostman3509 I mean, 7% of the matches, 5v5. For every 100 matches there're like.. just 7 cheaters out of 500 players. But it's enough to disturb MM. Whenever it happens a friend or two close CS and stops playing for that day.
That's too big of a percentage I would put it closer to 5%. When you're in the higher ranks you definitely encounter that 5% way more often though.
Thing is, if you play and lose against obvious cheaters, and they get banned later, it will still not retroactively affect your ELO. Unless we get back any ELO points that were subtracted when losing against banned cheaters, the game is rigged in favour of cheaters. As long as Valve doesn't fix this shit, I'm not playing. Selling all my skins, because the game is broken and there is no hope.
No matter how smart this AI anticheat is, it can't even detect the most obvious of cheats. If a player can spectate somebody and see a cheater not even hiding their cheats and they don't get banned, how on earth will this anti cheat have any chance of trying to get a sightly more complex cheats?? The solution is clear and has been for a decade since faceit saysbut sadly valve will not do it. That being an intrusive anticheat like vanguard or faceit/esea anticheat.I recommend just play faceit do not play premier.
that's just stupid and you know nothing about anticheats. Installing ring 0 mallware is not the way to go. I own my computer and the game company owns the server. It's their job to do everything server sided since they own it and just provide a client that works in MY best interest. It's ignorance like this that harms the game ecosystem. Do some OS dev and once you understand the basics you will realise your foolishness
more and more are running on secondary machines, no AC will read this, bans are report/manual for those who cheat this way. the AC can scan the gaming pc all it wants but nothings running on that pc, so no matter how many abnormal shots the AC won't auto trigger.
Honestly the anticheat should be at the point to where this game never finishes.....just like they said it would compared to valorant. Hell I'd rather them have kernel access than go up against this crap in a competitive environment.

Nah, 1.5 reached a more balanced point for the era. I can't remember if anything changed for 1.6 besides Steam (maybe shields?) but it was similar enough to not care. Except the Steam requirement. We all complained about it. Look at us now! We complain if a game ISN'T available on Steam.

I never get a game without cheats on both sides and that's in casual I don't bother with comp because it's worse. I notice the cheaters go on a rampage in the warmup so u can't tell straight away

The game is infected by cheaters. I am a decent player with a lot of experience and notice esp cheaters all the time, they all try to hide it before somebody calls them out and they get mad. Last game was a player trying to look legit, and then he ran allover the map like a noob killing players everywhere and still tried to hide it, and then I called him out and told what he did wrong as a player and he went all in with his wallhack while probably crying in his moms basement. Esp/wallhack is the cheat that most use because it is not as obvious as aimbotting and I would guess it is way safer than aimbot because it just shows information that the game stupidly provide by itself. VAC does close to nothing against esp cheaters, last cheater had 1000 hours played.

It seems that the Client side has too much authority on the state of the game. I've seen cheats allowing AWP to dump all 5 bullets in one go and hit them with an indefinite amount of obstacles. Bhopping should also be somewhat easy to detect.
IIRC 1.6 had a few anti-cheat plugins that hid removed player entities from the game unless they were in LOS.
Also, I remember reading one plugin that basically put a "fake" player entity above the player so only someone with cheats could attempt to kill it.
So just as speedhacks are prevented much other stuff could be.
Thats even funnier considering that lag spikes will uncrouch my character, cancel my jump, and switch back weapons.
Another thing you can see in the demo is how your crosshair does not need to be moved to make an accurate shot. Don't tell me that can't be detected! Even if it can be mistaken for a lag spike, it's a shred of evidence that goes with other evidence.
Honestly I’d prefer to encounter these idiots than the usual time wasting, gas-lighting, “you’re just bad”, gapfinding, no skins bloodhound devilbots. A.k.a the silvers with walls who can hang in 20k premier by finding all the gaps, avoiding all the site stacks, dodging T1-pro-tier set-flashes etc, yet still lose enough rounds to not knowing how to defuse and dying to fall damage to give you hope. My friends & I are so sick of losing 13-11 to people who we smashed in the first half before their whole gameplay changes
It is common for this to happen, exactly the same thing happens to us. We sweep in the first half and in the second they go from not knowing or jumping to destroying the entire team without any loss in the rounds...the game is dying
You and other TH-camrs should do this weekly… as long as there is no overwatch anyway! And link their profiles so we can report them, when valve is …..

They apparently are detecting the cheats from neverloose now which has 900.000 users. Even if profile reports would do anything it would not change anything because of the shier amount of cheaters in this game.

I feel like EVERY CS youtuber should put massive pressure on valve and put out content about how bad the situation is. At this rate it feels like Valve is completely oblivious to the reality of what's happening with their game.
Maybe they dont really care and just wanted the new game to cause inflation in skins prices so they could earn more dollars by people buying cases, keys and selling their skins on the steam market. Well then very well done valve, you made it happen.

Over half of the games I play have at least one cheater in them. You never used to have so many new accounts in csgo like there are now. Went from 21k elo to 17k in only a few days. Valve has unlimited funds yet they choose to leave their anticheat system the way it is. There's no way that it's not intentional, they might as well add dedicated hvh servers at this point.
Maybe create a cs profile that is linked to your ID, if you get banned you get banned forever as a person. The problem with just banning cheaters is that youre banning the saddest kind of human being in the population that are just gonna go create other accounts and keep doing their thing.

Its deffinitaly not going to, TeamFortress 2 had full teams of bots on every single server running around sniping people for years and people stuck with the game. That is called dedication right there, the game survives to this day, people played against full team of bots everymatch that would spam racist things perfectly headshots everybody constantly for years ok. That is a game where an anti cheat doesn't work at all.

I've encountered cheaters in about 25%-33% of games at 20k+ rating. Always accounts with low hours and no Faceit account. You call out the obvious in game and you just get gaslit about how they're not cheating and you're bad ect when it's obvious based on their timings, positioning, which angles they clear vs which they don't ect. Had a player named simple in an Anubis game about a week ago with under 100 hours drop 44 kills and carried his team winning in overtime. Dude was prefiring through walls with the awp and always happened to know when and where to peek...and no Faceit account lmao. I may switch back over to Faceit again myself instead of wasting my time playing against cheaters.

Hard to say. Many blatant cheaters haven't been given the hammer yet. Plus, I get wanting to test the AC, but doing so is still cheating and thus ruining games for those who are legit

Recoil cheats existed in CSGO, meaning you could jump no scope someone and always hit, with an aimlock or your normal aim.
But they went extinct in 2018, due to updates regarding anti-cheat and source-code tweaks. Now it seems like Valve is just dumb and forgot that they actually fixed it, just to unfix it in this shitty game.

he was using nospread, which was not possible in csgo, (however there was auto stop which stops you instantly to improve your chance of hitting the shot), however this method works while going any speed and will always be 100% accurate
Out of 6 games i had one 4 stack cheating and 2 games with a blatant waller cs2 is unplayable

I played 1 game today with my brother , i had wallhacker on my team and then enemy had also aimbot, anticheat works perfectly. Nearly every 3rd game cheaters in server , won´t play premium anymore , hail Faceit!

There was a cheat in CS:GO similar to what's being displayed to the complete accuracy, called nospread - this however stopped working on MM servers a while ago, and was only used from then on in HvH for the most part.

hes using nospread, in CS2 the randomization seed the server uses to generate spread is networked (being sent to) the client (the game on the users end), and you can predict the spread and counteract it by changing your angles in the way you would counteract recoil

From what I know, the latest detections are for no spread and pitch down anti-aim (someone in my game got banned live for it), I've not seen any mention of silent aim if any cheats have it yet or backtrack although cs2 just comes with it built in bc they had to give us goofy subtick updates. However, people have been getting banned after updating their GPU drivers, cheers valve. The only way I see them being able to stop the cheating is with a Valorant level anti cheat, or making one that is such a pain in the ass to bypass it makes cheats expensive to buy. Cheats for games like MW, Tarkov and Siege cost up to $100 or more per month for a reputable one, while in CS you can get them for less than $5 a month. Unfortunately, I don't really think there's a way around it, people will always make cheats and push the limits of their knowledge, and people will always be willing to pay the price that comes with it.
That's right, it is human misery and its inability to self-improve.

Comming right from Holiday, energised to play some cs2, then seeing this video and the comments. Well... atleast i know i should consider this season also as a Beta season untill there is more accurate, more responsive anti-cheat.

i've been getting more cheaters in normal comp matchmaking (i dont queue premier i think its STUPID!!) but i'm sem-gn1 and i hear that most people arent even above silver 4, shame they aboslutly killed comp MM by having you play 10 matches to win each map while premier existed on release

im not sure if Im just incredibly lucky or what, but havent seen yet any blatant cheater in my games. All games I could swear enemies were cheating, when I watched the demos I found out they were not cheating. I mean, at least not to the point of being blatant, like videos from this channel (perhaps toggling too well or using radar hacks etc)
had a lot more encouters with blatant cheaters back in CSGO around 2014~2016, after that it has been a lot more rare to me. What keeps happening since CSGO is being matched unfairly against a wide range of ranks, really unbalanced matches, that happens every 3 out of 10 games at least
same here 19k ELO didn't find a cheater and i play like 5 matches a day.

I would say it's not that lucky but still pleasant, cheaters in CS aren't majority of players. You remember it when hacks ruins your game and takes your elo or rank. Not sure but i would like to believe that full on cheaters are small percentage in the community. Tho even small percentage from over 1 mill player base will shake things.

People are most def delusional, i can see once you get a higher elo you will have a higher chance of facing cheaters. Too often i see low elo players accusing people that are either having a good game or just smurfing / playing 3rd party.
I play with friends that are bad all the time and as soon as they play against a decent player they start accusing him of walling or aimbotting, then i check the accused profile and i see he has literally is 2.7k elo in faceit with thousands of games.

Not realy effective, the wave is only manual ban of reported players and not VAC ban... To prove that i have created simple code yesterday for map hack and tested it on VAC secured server. If you are interested seeing the cheat how it works with the code of only 50 lines you can check my video that i have recorded as a proof.

The answer is a big fat no. and "massive VAC wave" is 8000 banned accounts out of possibly tens of thousands. and the 8k that got banned will just move on to new accounts, disable what got them banned, because they already know that, and then cheat for 5+ more months ruining more games and making this game unplayable.. Nope. Valve didn't overhaul anything and the cheating issue is still very much a plague on the game that valve seems to have no skill to dwell. Not expecting cheating issue to be fixed - but 100% expect that rage hacks is an obvious instaban and that subtle cheats becomes the norm for these losers.

I can't trust that these guys know what a cheater looks like when they don't bother to slow down the plays, listen to audio queues, or take the time to look at the opponents limbs sticking out of where they're positioned. Very lazy reviewers, dismissing everyone as a cheater without proper intellectual comments or analysis.
no, they know it didnt... they just wanted legit players that stopped playing to come back and get re-introduced to the leaderboards before the season ends so theres not a huge gap between every player... cause you can see huge gaps from legit players that havent played in weeks cause they are on face-it...

Played for the first time in a while this month. This week got my first cheater in an office game (i mean I shoulda expected it.) We started T, every round he script hopped into CT with a spinbot and killed everyone. Tried kicking him but he was queued, also spam reported him. He did the same thing every round. The entire match start to finish lasted 10 minutes. VAC live when???
I just don't understand cheating, your usually caught and banned making your rank mean nothing, do these people really just get enjoyment from ruining the game?
This last week every game i've played ended the same, We are winning 10 or 11 rounds, sometimes they had 4, others it was like 7... but from no where we could not get a single round and the games ended 10-13... honestly i've lost so much motivation to play, when you fuck people they toggle and win anyways..

It didnt. So I just deranked for cueing with someone who got vac banned (I didnt know they was cheating, we lost the matches I played with em). Anyways it dropped me to 1.6k elo, I lost over 2k in a day. Could say it works, but now Im seeing more hackers in this low rank. One headshot all of us on Overpass from his spawn with awp in a single shot. He was advertising his cheats in the chat 🙄 It happena in lower lobbies too, hackers gotta start somewhere

Last time I had a cheater in enemy team, who was killing us instantly on the spawn, so every round lasted 2 seconds. He got banned after two weeks. Good that he did, but VAC should ban something like that instantly, I mean cmon killing everybody on resp in 2 seconds...
at 1:36 he was clearly walling on the first guy but, you can't pass off the second kill as walls since you can see the shadow of the guy on the box confirming they're there. At 3:13, you can see the enemies head peak above the smoke when they jump into it. At 3:50 you could see the enemies foot peak out when he was hopping onto the orange boxes. Still, they were clearly cheating. Surprised they decided to be so blatant. I believe nitro was just receiving info from the teammates. When you look at most his kills there are no signs of aimlock or anything.
2:10 no that just looks like a trigger bot, if you will, for the knife. max slash range.
the best part of being a 20 year player here, is i notice people cheating by round 1 or 2 and spend the rest of the game having my teammates gas light me and tell me im crazy and bad. they have no idea
A lot of the time if you call them out, they turn it back on you as well. I had a player going 17/2 in a casual match he joined midway through, and he started claiming hacks on a guy going 6/7 on the opposite team. Just sad really.

If they had admins watching servers like in rust with a advanced AC that actually fuckin works like in valorant or rust csgo would be thriving more with legit skilled player base with no suspicions of hacking because the consequences are so severe like in rust it's not even worth it within 10 minutes you're banned
the game in premier & comp is terrible, its amazing how anyone can play valve servers. hold an spot, and the moment you move my crosshair you get ferrari peaked, every fucking time. but when i switch to faceit none of that ever happens even against the rank 10s . hmm.

Sadly it's not that different. Significantly less. But you'll still get people who can't play at their normal ranks and have to smurf. Or blatantly brand new profiles "legit" cheating.
@@THEMONSTEREXE idk how it is now, but back in 2022 i was playing it sometimes and in every match i have played i had 2 level steam account against me, who was first all the time.
esp and bhop hackers always seem so obvious, they dont even air strafe when bhopping, and half the time esp-ers just unapologetically stare through walls and insta peak impossible angles

i downloade all my demos in CS2 im long from a a good player but i do always play legit.
CSGO is by far my favorite game but the cheaters absolutely ruin it for me. I am not a fan of valorant but at least i dislike it for the crappy hero abilities and not blatant cheaters who valve lets run rampant.
There is a massive wave of cheaters with new accounts or those purchased with cheats, a time has come when you cannot play without having to face two or three cheaters per game who kill the rest... it is a critical point, if they do not solve it The game will be permanently lost.

I've been getting more cheaters the past week. Its either cheating problem is getting worse or I'm just very unlucky going against cheaters.
u can tell like 95 % of the time just by the movement of the players, just new players to the game and doin insane shots ect. even if they try to look legit...
That dude is still not banned. I have submitted a report too. I hope he'll get banned and maybe his PC will never power again.
