It’s so obvious Craig was a liar from the beginning. He knew Jerry was lying about coming but and but wouldn’t admit it. He didn’t know Elaine and Jerry were together and again wouldn’t admit it. So it should have surprised Elaine he lied about the dress he promised her in this episode just to keep her around.
Eh, it's obvious jerry is not man enough for elaine, no kavorka, so that wasn't necessarily a lie.
