subhanuallah , Sheik khan speaks the truth. when i first started to read quran i found exactly what he said about its guidance totally true. the answer to every question you had when you start looking at any surah , even answer to questions you hand't yet thought to ask, is totally there and likely to save your sanity/life/and soul. tawakkulallah.
sometimes we feel proud its also test and many more things like we have food and someone hungry, we ve money and someone really need it, sometime someone really needs our time. may Allah bless us and give us more and more right path and be have to be always thankful to Allah in all situation.
well any islamic book is a broad field bro, depends on your knowledge. some that come in my mind right now tauheed - dr. bilal philips if you wish some basics teaching but important. or Stories of the prophets - Ibn Kathir a classic. or look for Martin Lings for seerah of the prophet (saw). Or read a good translation of the Quran in your mother tongue from beginning to end if you havent already.
Tahir B Jazakallahu khayran Akhi. I am interested in books similiar to "Reclaim your heart" by Yasmin Mogahed. I wished Nouman Ali Khan would write a book ^^
you could also check out a program on youtube called "The Deen Show". Brother Eddie has structured this program in a way that is very accessible to reverts and also has alot of good interviews and discussions for more ulema level Muslims.
