Great energy and great vid! Getting back into fishing and your tips are just what I need👍 Noticed your out by the crib fishing. I go out of Lorain about 12 miles west of ya! Trying to figure out how to troll off a 40ft Cruiser. A bit tricky..using one motor and troll into wind trying to keep speed down. How fast us too fast for walleye do ya think?

Thanks. One thing I would say is if you can get some drift socks for both sides of your boat then that will help slow your speed down a lot. I have caught walleye trolling at 3mph but catching them consistently at that speed will depend on how active the fish are that day. At the end of the day being able to adjust your speed will help the most. I hope that helps and KeepFishin.

Thanks. I use michigan stinger spoons that are 2 1/4 inch.

Are you trolling with your main engine or the kicker? My main engine idles too fast, we actually have to use drift socks off the rear corners to slow down my idle speed enough to get the bites.

Man I could not get my kicker motor started AGAIN...my kicker has been soooo inconsistent so yeah I was trolling with my main engine. I have drift socks that I could have used to have me trolling slower but I was able to maintain 1.9-2.1mph speed.

First tip: live next to lake Erie the greatest concentration of walleye in the world. C'mon dude. Those tactics work on big water no doubt but come up north and finesse those fish off smaller inland lakes AND through the ice! That's walleye fishing.
