Emma: Some more red, and there… Hello, I’m Emma. And I’m here with Big Ted. Say ‘hello’ Big Ted
Big Ted: Hello!
Emma: We’re getting a little creative today, painting a library bag before it gets filled with lots of wonderful books.
Big Ted: Is that why you chose red, Emma? Because the books will be read too?
Emma: Nice one Big Ted. Now what colour should I go for next?
Big Ted: Yellow, of course!
[sound of water running]
Emma: Did you hear that noise? What was it?
[sound of water finishes, metallic screwing sound]
Emma: It sounded like water pouring out of a tap… but then a squeak squeak squeak. What do you listening think it could be?
Emma: I think we should hang this library bag up to dry and get investigating.
Big Ted: Don’t forget to put your Ears On!
Emma: Of course, Big Ted. Ears On, and off we go!
[INTRO THEME]
Emma: If it was pouring water we heard, do you think we should head to the bathroom, Big Ted?
Big Ted: Let’s make a splash and solve this mystery!
Emma: Here we are in the bathroom, and oh look, it’s Miah! Hi, Miah!
Miah: Oh hi Emma and Big Ted, I’m just brushing my teeth.
Emma: Have you been pouring water?
Miah: Hmmm only a little bit on my toothbrush before I put on toothpaste.
Emma: We heard a sound that was running water, but it went on for a while.
Big Ted: And then there was a squeak squeak squeak.
Miah: Maybe a little mouse poured a drink because it was thirsty?
[sound of a something closing]
Miah: Oh. That didn’t sound like a mouse.
Emma: It was nearly as quiet as one though…. Thanks, Miah, we better keep searching.
Miah: Good luck, Emma, and Big Ted.
Emma: Now this is quite a mystery, we heard some running water, some squeaking and then a clicking sound.
Big Ted: Maybe it’s a surfing mouse who shut the lid on a bottle of sunscreen? Cowabunga!
Emma: Ooh shut a lid you say… that gives me an idea…
