fun facts on Valmet Valmet was a Finnish industrial company that made snowmobiles (Lynx) tractors and forest equipment among other things Valmet merged with Volvo in the 80s and became Volvo BM Valmet but the demand shifted from smaller tractors to larger and the company was to small to develop larger tractors and started to have economic difficulties The company was split up and sold off to other companies the tractor division was sold to Valtra Valtra kept some of the design features from the Valmet era tractors their forestry division was sold to a Japanese company named Komatsu and they are still producing the Valmet designed harvesters etc The snowmobile division that made the Lynx snowmobile brand was sold to Canadian Bombardier that also owns Ski-Doo snowmobiles
Almost right. Valmet bought Volvo's tractor department in 1979 and in 1982 the name was changed to Volvo BM Valmet. It remained that for five years until it was switched back to Valmet. In 1994 Valmet tractors were moved under Sisu, which was also state-owned company. Then they became Sisu Valmet. Valmet remained as a state-owned tractor manufacturer until 1997 when Partek bought Sisu and Valmets tractors. The name changed to Valtra in 2001, and in 2002 Kone bought Partek. Two years later they sold Valtra and engine manufacturer Sisu Diesel to AGCO, which has been the owner since then. Valmet is still its own company and their main products are paper machines. Fun fact: even though Valmet is better known for its tractors, paper machines have almost always been their main product
The level of detail on some of these mods is truly astounding, the window sticker, sounds and all the animations in that Valmet, the winding handle on that small Unia plough, and the Lizard 4 pack (Ursus for console) too! I particularly liked the swaying of the rear 3-point linkage arms on the back of that one too while driving and not attached to anything, small things that you probably wouldn't miss if they weren't there but make a huge difference when they are!
Some really great mods there and thanks for show and tell. I do wish you would tell us the 'Upkeep' or 'Daily Maintenance' that some of these modders put on their building so I don't set my heart on anything only to be disappointed at the extortionate daily or hourly fees that they ridiculously set. Up to $5 is fine but hundreds of dollars/pound a day is a joke.
In numbers, maybe a colossal number, but in functionality a very doubtful amount of mods.... But thanks for reviewing, I bet you should thank viewers to for watching as monetizing 🤣.
