The tall tower at 13:45 once housed Leaf Brands Candies. Used to pass it daily on the way to school. Thin white coating covered the area, with employees in white taking smoke breaks under the exhaust fans on Division St. Chicago at one time was the candy making capitol of the world. Now most production is in Mexico.
