Rode the Blue and Red on Saturday past. They are 1000% steeper in real life than on video. The top of the Red is like a waterpark slide with no water. Absolutely stunning/scary/exhilarating.
Thanks for the video! Enjoyed seeing all the other trails. We were there on Sunday and loved it. Second time on an MTB and found the new blue trail quite testing. Having ridden the older blue trails on a gravel bike plenty of times I wasn't quite ready for the speed and steeper berms! One to practice for sure 😊
I just tried the blue the other day. I seem to only be able to do the berms on left turns. Stupid brain. Probably less likely to crash than doing Spooky Wood though lol. I'm not sure if Mild Peril is the trail name or a warning?
@@border304 I can do left turns easier than right so you're not alone. You'll be able to ride the other ones just go slower. You'll get better with practice. I find the blue harder because the berms are not as big.
yeah for a local. The climb up to the top of the red would be a good workout routine for you. Climb followed by the berms will stress your cardiovascular system and your muscles.
Was there on Saturday. Great trails. Good to have some more options at GT now
It does add something extra to the centre. They just need to invest a lot more into the area.
Hope the plant trees, nothing better than trails through the Forrest for me
was just grass before on the hill side. need to spend time on the upkeep though.
Great video Ross, thanks for filming, Andy
Thanks for watching the shite I publish on YT 🤣
It's not as shite as mine lol

They are a lot steeper in person. The bit on the black it pretty big too. Really doesn't look like it on cam.

Great to have these new trails 👌

@MTBScotland yeah. So many options now. Can't wait to mix these up with the off piste trails for some big days on the bike 👌
@@streetpigeonmtb really will be big. Shame they can't make some nicer links between the off piste stuff.
new trails look fantastic!
They are really good. Not sure how well they will weather the amount of traffic though.
@@MTBScotland yeah thats one worry, will they stand up to regular use.
Looking fast there Ross! When were you there? We were up yesterday. Trails were running great. Weather was great too, just a bit windy.🤘
Was there on Friday. Was fairly busy. Would have hated to be there over the weekend.
@@MTBScotland Ah cool. Yeh was mobbed on Saturday.
You filming?
@@MTBScotlandYeah. Hopefully have something up by the weekend.
