    GREAT JOB Sir ...... kindly do a vidio on save 3ds max projects and reopen and also merg 3d objects in a seine there are some problems

    Hi! I'm using 3dsmax 2021 and when I import this model to try to turn the cushion into an editable poly, the cushion turns flat & I can't seem to edit it - can't figure out what went wrong? Thanks!

      Hi Kristi. That is should not happen, can you confirm if your weld is off or it has some number greater than 1(select the object - editable poly - weld

      @@GeorgeNicola I found the problem. When I was Importing, I needed to select "Sketchup (2015 & older) (May be Removed) (*.skp)" from the Files of Type list. Then I wasn't having a problem with the poly flattening in edit poly mode.

      @@kristikreamer509 Thanks for the update, Kristi. I would never have guessed that this can cause the issue. For earlier versions than Max 2020, the SketchUp files had to be imported as files saved in SketchUp 2015; otherwise, the importer wasn't working at all.
