Imagine a number pad on a keyboard with character on 1P side;
1= Down, Left
2=Down
3=Down,Right
4=Left
5=Neutral
6=Right
7=Up, Left

Thank you for showing a simpler combo before the more complicated ones, it's good to know I can get decent damage with a simpler one until I master the bigger ones.
I knew how to do these combos in the first time I went to teaining. (Without watching videos)

im new to soul calibur and it looks like kilik is my favourite character as of now :)
I like Kilik as well. But there are a few more I like:
Taki
Zasamel
Groh
Taki definitely pushing herself to the top, but one thing I don't like about her is her lack of safe options.
She focus on super close range and mainly punishing whiffs.
Kilik is good by zoning, but isn't afraid to get close to do some critical damage.
Zasamel relies mainly on closing in,so he can pull you into his range for combos. In a way, zas is like astaroth with grabs, except his scythe is one big grab.
I still can't figure out Groh's weakness. Haven't labbed with him enough yet.
Yeah I'm pretty good with kilik but I also play 2B pretty well, and am alright with geralt and nightmare. I'm trying to pick up taki and yoshimitsu
All this just makes me miss how easy xiba was to use =(
Hm. I do wonde, is it worth to go soul charge in a pvp match : the possibility of just being drained of health is a little frightening x)
It's smart to do if you're already low on health. It gives you one last chance to win the game with a big combo or super
Deon Scovell knightmare and seigfried do damn near the same damage for no drain from what I've seen. 2 shots and I'm near death just the same
im pretty new to the game and i have 3 mains, kilik is one of them and the soul charge is actually super good for damage it will only drain your health if you are not blocking attacks or not attacking the enemy and the CE is very easy to punish with after sidestepping a vertical. Plus if they slip up a bit you could destroy their health bar in seconds because his damage gets boosted by a pretty insane amount and also his taunt gets cool as a bonus when versin noobs :)

My controller doesn't have these buttons?!?! How do you do them on Xbox 1
A is horizontal, b is vertical, k is kicks, g is guard and then the 12346789 notation is similar to that if a numpad on a computer keyboard

Bryson Jones look at a computer keyboard on the right side with the numbers and you should learn easily that’s what I did
What about the game pad direction
look at the numbers on the right your keyboard 7 8 9

1 2 3
each number represents a direction on a controller or stick for example forward A = 6A
How the fuck do you play this game. This ain't like Tekken.
