    Hey Capt. consider building a mount or housing to hold your camera. It will offer some control of lense placement. Just sayin.

    It's seem to me that the bass that live around saltwater and are exposed to it are smaller and more aggressive 🤔🤔 thoughs

    Ive experimented with 'scents' and various attractants on different types of lures. The ONLY lure it works on are Gulp baits. They soak up the juice and it is emitted from them. What I use it with is chum. I have a bag of breadcrumbs. Add a tin of tuna, a tube of scent and small diced bait fish. Then throw small balls in. I use this in grass marshs,bays etc. It doesnt soak into ANY other plastic bait. The 'scent' may work better on anglers. But if you soaked your lures in hot water it would remove any scent on them. But if it improves YOUR confidence in your bait then go for it.

    • @BamaSaltwater
      @BamaSaltwater  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gulp are great baits, the durability is trash though. Pro Cure actually absorbs into ZMan ElazTech The salt eventually dissolves from the baits, leaving a porous material to where the oils in the attractants are absorbed like a sponge (similar to the bio plastics in Gulp). Either way, if any thing get's that extra bite...then why not use it. That's what makes it fun.

    When I did fish the county pier at PCB the pier workers seemed to be winching up a 4+ foot turtle that was hooked often. They said they thought he was enjoying the attention and getting hooked on purpose. Getting a free sky lift-to him, a ride in a side by side to the parking lot, on to the beach and released.

    Pinfish are related to spot tail pinfish, scup porgy and sheepshead to name a few, puffer fish are very good to eat as long as you know how to clean them you must not cut into the bladder if you do they are poisonous.

    I avoid eating any fish that might be considered trash anywhere; but I've heard so much about pins having the nickname "sugar bream" and anyone who does eat them saying they're good fish, that I might be tempted...

    Buy your gas at the same station as you fill your truck and your wallet will thank you. Nice that you support your tackle shop but it is the same fuel just a little pricier. Looking forward to a South Alabama getaway as soon as the weather gets nicer.

    Procure does WORK. I use them on my zman minnowz. The one I found the most productive is manhaden. I have tested them out from using none on my zman, not very productive then tried it it went crazy productive. Make sure your rub it all over the lures

  • @patscally5390

    Please...those are not "speckled trout". They are " spotted sea trout". Speckled Trout are actually lake-run brook trout, found only in fresh water from Michigan, Ontario, and further north into Quebec and Manitoba. It takes many years for a brook trout to be considered a speckled trout.

    • @djayzeke
      @djayzeke 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are spotted sea trout but down south we call them speckled trouts
