SF Giants blasphemy, but as much as I dislike Buck, I actually prefer his call over Jon Miller. I love Jon but it sounded like he was sure that the game was over lol. In contrast, this may have been one of Buck's best calls ever.

I remember seeing Ishikawa hit 3 HRs against Cleveland in spring training some years back. I never expected him to go throw the trials and tribulations in his career that he did, and I remember watching this at-bat thinking " He's got this". I was hoping for a base hit, realistically, but man. Couldn't have happened to a better dude. This game was everything. Craw and Shark's D, Morse's pinch hit HR..And the cherry on top. SO proud to be a Giants fan.

Blessed to be there for my first postseason game, me and my best friend celebrating both our 30th birthdays. Not only are we die-hard Giants fans but fans of Ishi, and damn what an ending. Firstly, I thought Morse's HR was foul so that was a nice surprise, but then the walkoff...
I remember vividly trying to calculate how we could win during his AB, if he just pokes one then it's done. And when he hit it from my perspective (Bleachers 144) it looked like MAYBE a fly out, so I was trying to calculate "ok now maybe Arias can tag up to 3rd then we just need Crawford to-----" and then the crowd erupts. What a fucking night.

Also the fact that, in an elimination game, 9th inning, tie game, you gotta give credit to Boch for sticking with Ishikawa and not bringing Juan Perez as a defensive replacement (especially after the play in the 3rd that cost a run).

Bay Area born and raised, my first Giants game was at the Stick in 1964, when the only thing separating the players and the SF bay, was a cyclone fence, Been watching Giants baseball thru all the years and great players, including Bonds, even made it to the Stick for the final game of the World series.. only to watch the A's win.
Some good years, some not so much, until 2010 thru 2014 when it all finally came together. Pitching was precision and they knocked the ball around pretty good. Nice to see your team sitting on top for a while..

Even though Mad Bum wasn't the best regular season pitcher, his postseason stats are absolutely incredible and in all honesty he deserves to be in the HOF next to Posey. Bumgarner has some of the best postseason stats in all of MLB history.
Lincecum was insane as well. Cain could've had a better career had the Giants gave him more run support during his career. A few pitchers during the Giants 3 in 5 could be HOFs
Satiago Casilla also deserves his respect. One of the couple pitchers active for all 3 WS wins
Travis Ishikawa has his place in SF Giants history. Back and forth with us but one of the biggest swings in our history

I still think Ishikawa should have been NLCS MVP instead of Mad Bum. And not solely based on the game-ending HR. Sure, he made a defensive error in this game, but he also had the bases-clearing triple in Game 3. Mad Bum had the stellar Game 1 start and an average Game 5 start -- not enough for NLCS MVP. Mad Bum definitely deserved the WS MVP though.
