Actually for natural coffees I would use anything but since they are inherently sweet and flavorful I would go for flat bottoms if you want to bring out the sweetness in them and use conical to tone down sweetness and bring out complexity. for washed coffees I would use a conical dripper to bring out more flavor and for anaerobic coffees I would go for flat bottoms to tone down funkyness.
Probably ODZ Dripper passes on the right time, producing fruity flavors while the other Dripper passes fast enough to make more pronounced the coffee lactones who taste dry and bitter (residual flavor of fermentation process). You just demonstrated TIME IS A MUST DURING PERCOLATION!
Yes that is true - but also take into account that I just dumped the water into the drippers, no active agitation to slow and careful pour so those are also huge factors in different drippers that you need to know how to use them :)
Noticed you usually use the commadante over the zp6, any reason why? taste? or just feeling lol. I would also like to see how this dripper compares to the Origami and v60
Yes we'll do those comparisons too! I normally use the comandante because the c40 makes complex brews. Maybe not the cleanest of brews but they make the most enjoyable coffees for me :)
@@darylbuenocoffee do you think for someone trying to decide between the ZP6 Special vs K-Ultra that the K-Ultra would be more similar to the Commandante in this regard?
@@rsandilands unfortunately i have no experience with the k ultra. I've heard this comparison to c40 before but a lot of people would also say that that is not the case at all.
@darylbuenocoffee Ukrainian military) Actually it's just drip coffee for now on Sundays) Maybe after the basic training is over I can return to my pour over game) I'm not going to be at the frontline, so nothing to worry about) I'm still finding time to watch your videos)
Hi! It will be so interesting to know witch your favorite dripper using for each coffee process (washed, natural, anaerobic)

Great vid! Where did you get the purple c40 cup+handle? So cool!
@@SoImPlayer2 thank you! The knob is from comandante and the cup i printed it.
Hope a comparison between origami and v60 and Orea come while brewing a recipe. Im interested in the cup as it’s bone china…
