I will say excellent debate rather than discussion.
We have to think who is the threat and who is the security for Bangladesh. Considering since independence, India has been a threat to Bangladesh for various logical reasons. On the other hand, China is a companion of our development in just a few years and China is not a threat to us for any reason. Even if China is the polar opposite political superpower to the US but it will never pose a threat to the US unless it accepts a planned attack by the US. Because, Chinase trade policy is flowing in a democratic way and has dominated the world.

After listening to Professor Mostafa Sarwar's twisting half-baked arguments on Bangladesh's relations with India (with a disconnected mishmash of geophysics and flounting knowledge of greek literature), I kept on wondering why do people keep on talking in public if they have nothings substantive to say on the specific subject matter? Perhaps -- given his demonstrated ability in this program to be able to start a post-retirement career as a salesman of a well-oiled political career in the mafioso state of Bangladesh as well as his professional mathematical skills -- perhaps he could better enlighten us on the 101 of mathamatical dynamics of sycophancy.
Thank you Dr Manzur A. Chowdhury for clearly articulating what needed to be said on the subject matter. Despite not pretending to be a foreign policy expert on a subservient state like Bangladesh (actually the literature on the foreign policy behaviours of non-democratic and/or client/subservient states like Bangladesh has grown significanly in the last decade--- if only Professor Sarwar cared to read. What has developed more recently in the study of foreign policy options of authoritarian client states is a focus on the general behaviour of these states and just not their individual policies, even though these policies are often puzzling and sometimes perplexing), you have actually hit the nail right on the head in a very straignt forward manner.
